this should not be hard in the slightest, penny arcades readers alone could do it if they had like 90% turn out, but that would be silly, but the readers from PA, CAD, 8-bit, AG, numerous others surely could do it easy at a dollar a pop, maybe even 50¢.

I think that its possible to save it... but You gotta have all of the aforementioned webcomics push for it - frequently.

it was anounced yesterday evening, it's already raised 4.5k, people be pushing for this. i for one am for this because brian and the rest of the authors give us so much and ask for so little, we owe it to them to help them.

I've never been to Connecticon but their generosity moves me. I don't like pay pal due to them having a fee but if someone can email me their address I'll personally mail a check for $50. Not much but at least it's more than 50 cents. Give me their address at Cheng.Yu@uconn.edu

I haven't ever attended Connecticon, but I planned to next year (as I'm still new to this whole webcomic thing).

I do believe this is important, and as such, have posted a link on the front of my comic page, in the news section. If both of my fans donate, at least I'll have done something.

Hey, every dollar counts. It's the only way we'll get to $35k.

I'll be putting up a donation as soon as I get a billing address. Yay for moving!

I am rather pleasantly surprised by how much the donation total has risen so quickly. I was checking on it periodically during the first day ($7000 in twelve hours, was it?) and now I am checking it about every 24 hours and it puts a smile on my face. Connecticon should be fine.
