Before the members of Team Evil could get back up, Kurama sprinted forward to where Drak lay prone on the ground. He grabbed the fallen Gaijin, and draped him over his shoulders.
"You fought well. Be proud. We just need you, and we can take flight." The pistons on the boat were turning loudly, and large engines had appeared from the sides of the boat. As the engines turned, large shafts popped from the sides of the deck, and pointed up high into the air. From the sides of the shafts, fan blades folded up from the sides, and began to spin. After a few moments of quick turning from the propellors, the airship creaked up from its resting spot, and soon was hovering above what was left of the earth. The others had managed to take refuge within the boat, and those that hadn't, Kurama had already grabbed. Kurama leapt in bounds toward the boat, carrying Drak on his back. When he reached the door, he placed Drak inside. He then turned, and looked back at the fallen team. They were getting up from the battle. "Consider it a draw, for today. But please, for your sakes, leave us be. We are doing what we think is right. And, if you truly must, do what you believe. If it means we cross paths again, then we will not leave on such amiable terms." Kurama smiled a bit, and the door closed in front of him. The airship floated higher, until it hid itself amongst the clouds. They were heading for the first destination, leaving Team Evil to decide what to do. (OOC: This chapter isn't over yet, so you can still post here. It's basically just recovering from the fight.) |
The situation was not looking good. At least, not for Ti.
There was too much fighting going on to do what he had wanted, and interefering recklessly would get him killed. The people on boths sides were dangerous, more so than he had ever expected. No. This simply wouldn't do. He'd just have to wait for the right oppourtunity. |
Pyros could not breathe. It wasn't neccesarily all that bad mind you, but he wished he could hold his breath as he was being hurled toward Sanjuro (who was currently stuck in a tree) He wasn't worried about Sanjuro however, He'd be fine. There happened to be an innocent squirrel in the place.
Thinking fast, he hurled his sword at the wind controller. But the very moment the Pyrosian masamune hit the magic that was pulling him towards Sanjuro, the magic was dissipated. Pyros's increased flight to avoid hitting the squirrel finally had fruition, and he found himself heading toward Koyuki. As he was just above her head, Drak and Yaburu hit each other with the super punch. As the shockwave hit him causing him to avoid her and land hit the ground to her left., and as he touched ground a massive explosion filled the area. Had Pyros had air to speak with, The world would have heard him curse for the first time. After the explosion, Pyros felt a strong hand grab him and cart him off. Then he noticed he was on the ship from before. And after that, he realized he was still alive. He turned his head. "Wow. Got anything to eat?" |
Raikotsu had been hurled through the air by the shockwave, yet had maintained his control, "I will kill you yet, Kurama!" he shouted at the departing hero...then looked down at his ranseur, at the softly glowing crystal head, "I will avenge my family." he continued in a softer voice.
He heard the Dog Demoness' words, landing beside her, "Aye, let us depart, Koyuki." He looked at her, eyes widening a little at the sight of the stab wound, "Remind me to take a look at that later..." Looking around, he took note of where the other members of the group were...but didn't move to help the fallen, simply because he didn't care about them, and because they could take care of themselves. |
The Reaper, mostly unaffected by the sensational overload of the combined attacks, noisily made its way to the ship, effortlessy scooping up anyone who had recieved a more devasting brunt of the attack.

Takin appeared from the engine room, his face covered in soot.
"A gas tank overheats, two tubes burst, and a piston explodes in my face, and you want me to cook you something?" Takin pointed to the kitchen area. "I did that a long time ago. It's fresh. Relatively." |
Kings got up and walked over to the food. He walked not with a limp, even after what he'd been through, but with a slump. The kinda slump that one has when his actions prove for naught, the slump that comes from being a peaceful person in a violent world.
He shoveled in food much like Sanjuro did earlier, with little care of what went into his mouth. |
Koyuki had been knocked off her feet by the force of the twin tekken semehorobosu attacks, despite her best efforts to remain standing during the earth-shaking onslaught of chaos. She was thrown a few meters from her current position, and returned to her feet with relative ease, considering the effect of being tossed like a rag-doll.
"I'll be seeing you again Kurama. Next time, you won't escape." She replied, although in a tone of voice that the fleeing Kurama would not catch. "Come, Raikotsu. I have something to discuss with you." Koyuki said, with a little bit of an angry tone, as the Air demon took a place beside her. "Remind me to take a look at that later..." He said, noticing her recent stab-wound recieved in her careless pursuit of Kurama. "I've had worse." She replied simply. |
"What did you wish to discuss?" Raikotsu asked her curiously, looking over at Koyuki. He carefully noted her tone, but concluded that he would have time to respond if she attacked.
His armor was covered in soot from the shockwave, dust streaking his face and hair...yet he was unwounded, and was already directing swirling eddies of air to clean himself off. |
****** Right after Pyros' explosion******
Sanjuro had watched as Pyros turned the explosion away from harming him and the squirrel, and after seeing Kurama grab the unconscious Drak, he quickly ran over to Pyros. Placing the squiirrel into the safety of the side of his robes he grabbed Pyros and threw him over the shoulder, "Don't worry Rice Man, I've got ya." Moving swiftly into the ship in all the confusion was more then easy enough, yet Sanjuro flinched just a little when he saw his beloved holding a fresh wound. ****** Now ******* Sanjuro lazily walked into the dining room with his squirrel companion on his shoulder, "Hey rice man, I'm glad to see you're awake. That was quite an adventure we just had don't you think?" Sanjuro asked as he fed some rice to his new pet. |
