Restaraunt
 

Their is a little diner downtown that serves an interesting menu... Their chili fries are called 'Lord of the Fries' (Or just LORD, for the customer in a rush) And they serve an assortment of pancakes that are named after *ahem* 'well-endowed' female celebrities... you know. Becuase they're stacked.

Anyway, its an interesting little joint. Any neat restaraunts near your neck-of-the-woods?

There's one that I've been going to with my family since I was a baby. It's a small Italian restaurant located in Garfield, NJ named Trovato's. It's hands down the best restaurant I've ever been to. They know my family personally (which perpetuates the rumor that my family is deeply involved in the mafia).

The thing about it I find really unique is that they serve an alcoholic drink called grapa. The waiter brings to the table a glass canister, about three feet high and about as round as a standard drinking glass, filled with a clear 80 proof alcoholic beverage with a pear submerged in it. It's the best drink I've ever had. Burns a little on the way down, though.

There's a family owned Chinese place near the movies here. I know the owners' daughter, and they escaped communist China. there was this whole thing with the Air force and a boat and whatnot. Great food, too.

Can't say there is. There is a place called ''Biggy's'', where Hua Poe likes to go eat.
The food is good and everything, but it's the setup of the place which is interesting, more then the menus.
They have license plates all over the wall, from provinces and states in Canada and The States. They have European ones too. The oldest plate I saw was from 1950.

There's really old radios, clocks and whatnot, dating from the 40's. All this stuff apparently belongs to the owner, who collected it over the years.

And finally, every table has its own little jukebox dating back from the 70's. All non functional, but with a selection of songs from Limp Bizkit to The Riverdales.

Too bad you can't play any of the somgs...it's for decoration.

There is a little sandwich shop about a block from my house that serves chicago style sandwiches, hoagies and the like. It is an awesome place and the sandwiches are ridiculously wonderful.
It is called M+N Sandwich shop.

We've got a kickass mexican place here that's BYOB. It's the only restaurant in the entire city that allows it, to my knowledge.

In case you weren't aware, yes, Worcester is a very dull place.

Well, there's a vietnamese restaraunt in my town that is, as far as I know, the only one in the region. I'm a little partial to it since I eat free, being an employee, but the food is really good. Everything is authentic vietnamese, so you get all kinds of things, including some wonderful drink called 'thai tea' (not sure what it is, but it's good). What's really hillarious is the first time people, who, much like me, can't pronounce anything on the menu. The food is huge also, with the small being larger than most people can finish. Only thing that worries me is that Henry (the owner) is trying to get an alcohol license, and if that goes through, goodbye job.

Oh by the way, on my recent jaunt to New York City, I partook of some most excellent pizza from a place called "John's Pizzaria" -Apparently some celebs from NYC like Jack Black and some news anchors really like it, and I have to say, their opinion is probably the most correct one I've ever heard. Best pizza ever. EVER. Yes, Ever.

Funny story though: On another part of manhattan, near the 'Intrepid' musuem, there was this little crappy american style burger joint, really run down looking... But a bunch of limosines and black SUVs were all parked outside of it. My first thought, stupidly, was "Prom party? In that dive? Stupid kids." But when i say the suits I said "oh. Mafia." and ran like the dickens.

But yeah. Johns pizzaria. if you're ever in NYC, check it out.

There's a pub/restaraunt in Navestock called "The Alma Arms" which has the best steak pie in the world. Served with Baked beans and a jacket potatoe, I've only ever maneged to beat it once.

Ummmm, does pizza hut count??
