I like the plot and the idiots who all use the sniper rifle. For you see, in every other fps game, the sniper rifle pwns. So naturall anybody who wants a few easy kills gets their diry little mitts on it, so you end up with everyone thriving on sniping.

But in battlefield 2, and in real life, sniping's effectiveness is minimal, especially when you are up against a tank, which you learn quickly that you need something more explosive, as your pathetic sniper bullets just bounce off. And if everyone's a sniper, the tank wins. And dont' get me started on choppers.

Nope. Not getting that whole comic either.

Tex..........hmmm. There's a reference there. I just know it.

Anyway, I see Brian has not abandoned the sheer awsomeness of his funny. But what I really loved about the first comic was the guy's silent expression at "We could snipe it."

Reaction humor always gets me.

I feel sorry for the guy with the huge dishpan sized eyes and the hard to pronounce name. Seriously, he has some pretty bad luck right there. Not a good sign of things to come.

But I REALLY like the third one for one particular line. "I have no idea what that means and that only makes it worse."

Something about that line reminds me why I started keeping up with 8 bit theater in the first place.

So keep up the good work Clevenger, you master nerd you. =P

What's not to get? Roy is utterly terrified by the psycho mechanic, an enemy tank is approaching, the Sniper Squad is running away from it in a mindless panic, it turns out they had Tex' gear with them, and Tex has apparently watched them and is, indeed, pissed at them for taking his stuff. Perfectly normal day. :p

"You ate mt falafel!"-good ones.

I like the comedy of the strip (of course, it is brian's) but my main problem is telling the difference between the charactors. They have somewhat of a tendency to look the same to me. I just know that there is the wide-eyed Noob, the crazy mechanic guy, one of the people is called Tex (I'm not sure which one is tex, though.) Meh, maybe it is because their forms of dress are not a distinctive as the 8-bit cast.

And the fact that most of their bodies are hidden, and most of them haven't had an devolpment...

Tebor 08-04-2005 01:12 AM

Gotta love racist jokes. Okay, screw racist jokes, it's all about the THUNK of the tank barrel running into the soldier! GENIUS!
