hey, im just wondering, does anyone (besides me) know what love hina is?

im just wondering.....

I haven't seen the series although I'm dying to. I think the ADVidNotes in Excel Saga said something about "Hina" translating to "Puny" if that's what you mean.

I've seen the whole thing. It's the traditional "ronin moves into house with group of girls" anime. So, slapstick and romance abounds.

yeah i liked it. kinda like tenchi muyo, only i dont want to kill the guy. by the time you finish watching it, you should be able to appoligize 4 different ways in japanese.

I love Love Hina. It's my favourite anime.

But it was only good for the first 8 mangas, everything went to hell after that. The anime was pretty crappy, IMO.

Seriously though, I find the anime hilarious and considering 90% of what I want out of my entertainment is humour (and the other 10% is fanservice) Love Hina is just what the doctor ordered. :D

I have the boxed set imported from Japan, complete with Spring and Christmas specials. I tend to like serious anime, so I'm surprised I like Love Hina as much as I do...but then again my other favorite comedic anime is Ranma 1/2, which has a similar premise.

I'm not saying LH was totally bad... I think I went a bit too far. Just that it got too wacky after a while (slapstick is one thing, but slapstick overdose is baaaaddd... it makes me go out and kill kittens... poor kittens...)

Love Hina was the first anime series i ever watched that was not on TV, so it holds a special place in my heart. That being said it's one kickass anime. You have to feel sorry for Keitaro though.

Love Hina Again is a different story altogether, it sucks cawk.
