Most excellent music
ever encounter a song or an artist or even a slightly musical noise that inspired a change that did'nt use subliminal messaging?
music doesn't make people do things but it can make you think things read the whole post and you'll get it then give me your songs/artists/noises Artists DMX-DMX's voice has such a qulaity that it could inspire violence if it was giving the soulution to world peace he just has an angry voice that makes you angry in a good way Lil Jon-Lil Jon mkaes me want to kill.... Lil Jon. i hate him he's killing Hip-Hop and the only good thing he's doing is inadvertantly stealing rock back from white people with Crunk music look at a southern Hip-Hop club at full crunkness and a heavy metal mosh pit seeee? Bone crusher-kind of a dangerously affirming voice makes you feel tougher and bigger than you are, might make you get your ass kicked Songs Get back-Move-Ludacris-Similar to bone crusher and DMX these make you feel big but not as big as the best swelled up head song of all time, soon to come Get Up stand up-Bob Marley and the Wailers-If this song is played anywhere there is injustice shit will go down us dumb teenagers have snuck out of the house when grounded because it came on(not me there are bars on the windows) One love-Jamming-Bob Marley and the Wailers-these songs cools me down when angry... sometimes Three little birds-Bob marley-I sing this when I try to convince myself to get up in the mornings and it actually works New Found Glory-That song with the claymation video that was on the HellBoy movie commerciasl and by the way, RED MEANS STOP!! BAMM!!! thats an excellent song except for the break which ruins the pace Movie songs- And now for the ultimate big head, little man song!!! GODZILLAS SONG- this is the ultimate make you feel badd song if played at the right time, upon entering an area or room first the horn part, maybe looped with a good bass line then the repettitave violin part you may actually get stronger when this song plays. Never doubt the awesome gangstaness of Godzilla... ever. ever you hear me!!?? "RUNN ITS GODZILLAAAAAA!!!" Kill Bill Song-That song that plays on all the Kill Bill commercials you know the one, it starts of with just the guitar for like a minute and rules state that nothing but staring down and cool dialog can happen during this period if someone follows the rules and the other guy doesnt, you wil lose but when it takes of OH MY GOD! so awesome! That song when neo fights all the smiths-matrix 2- this song just kicks ass and combined with the memorable image of all the smiths getting obliterated by Neo and by the way, "Its you!" yes its me, me me me me." "and me too" game songs and noises City escape-Sonic adventure 2-this is awesome makes you want to piss someone off so they can chase you the ultimate RUN NIGGA RUN!!!!!! song Knuckles songs all of them-Sonic adventure battle 2- you know when pumpkin hill came on you jammed that song its just so awesome for a game and you gotta respect the porr musicians who lost all respectability after that game The zelda song- don't ned to explain the zelda song don't need to talk about the zelda song its the motherfuckin zelda song bithces! RAIRAI EDIT: I took the liberty of seperating your text to make it more readable for the other people here. I wasn't even going to ATTEMPT to punctuate all of it, but for the love of peace, will you PLEASE try to type in a way which people can read without squinting? Consider this a friendly warning. |
WOW! Congratulations, you made my tired eyes hurt...
From what I could decipher we are to post our favourite songs? If so, the current favourites are by the Black Mages, with Otherworld as a number one. If I'm wrong, be so kind as to add structure, maybe a bit grammar, and punctuation to your post. You can do so by using the edit button. If I were wrong I will edit. EDIT: Also, welcome to the forums, I trust you have read the rules? |
I think that he's trying to get us to list songs that inspired a strong emotional response in us. If that's the case, I have to say that "Headstrong" (I forget what the band called itself, maybe Trapped) is the ultimate fight song of all time. No one can listen to that song and not be pissed off.
And if this wasn't a post and run, I would second melfice and tell you, Premonitions, to slow down, think about what you are saying, spell check, and for God's sake read the rules. by _mike |
Hey there! Welcome. Just so you know, we aren't all trying to bully you or make you feel bad. Nor are we Nazis or something. But, we all have kept this place squeaky clean and spam free-a real haven among non-professional boards for both jokes and intellectual discourse, if I may-by following the rules, which I ought to warn you are always enforced. The mods won't nitpick on spelling and grammar or anything, and they'll even let you off on minor offenses, but just know that people are rather serious here about our rules. Also, the link in my sig to the "rules as told by the members of this community" is a rather useful, if a little jokeful, guide mostly by regular forumers. So, yah...
And, to contribute, Televetors and Non-Zero Possibility, by The Mars Volta and At the Drive-In respectively, always make me a little sad. The same goes for Mogwai's Happy Songs for Happy People, and Needle in the Hay by Elliott Smith. And, Frances the Mute (the "decoder" single not the album, though they're by the same band) is the song I listen to when I'm pissed. |
The Gypsy Kings cover of "Hotel California" (found on the Big Lebowski soundtrack) makes me think of gunfights whenever i hear it.
i'm not much a fan of A Perfect Circle, but thier song "Counting Dead Bodies Like Sheep" makes me think of robots on a killing spree. and, strangely enough, that makes me happy. |
I do have a lot of fight songs in my playlist, "Oh My God" by Kaiser Chiefs (Great English band); "Those who fight further" by The Black Mages and J-E-N-O-V-A", also by Black Mages.
"Skatanic" by Reel Big Fish always seems to give me a bad feeling like a place. I was listening to it in the car, and when I arived at the destination, It felt a bit more darker and overcast. But my favourite type of "Feeling music" is Style-Fighting. Which whiles it makes no sence, it seem that it has more finesse to it and more style than normal fighting music. Almost if like Jackie Chan was fighting. Prime songs that do this are: "Do Your Thing" by Basement Jaxx; "Wonderful Night" By Fatboy Slim and, to some extent, "Disco a gogo" by Graeme Norgate (From the Timesplitters: Future Perfect soundtrack) It's proberly a fighting-style drum beat with the dance style dressing. |
Yeah sorry about the whole length and confusion I think faster than I...well faster than I do anything I think all the damn time I think its the afro
|
Whenever I hear 'Risen' or "Preach/Pervert" by KMFDM, I always end up pretending I'm kicking someone's ass (A highly unlikely scenario)....on the other hand, when I hear 'I Disappear" by The Faint, I imagine myself piloting the Ragnarok from FFVIII.
And there's something about the Zelda theme that alomost brings tears to m eyes, especially the orchestrated version. |

yup..i gotta agree with premonitions on the fact that DMX has that kind of a voice.
the song "Party Hard" by Andrew WK makes me feel like jumping up and down.. yeah, i fucking hate lil jon. he never sings in songs that claims that he is the artist of the song. i hate him. his phrases really get tiring. Gwen Stefani's songs make me wanna go up to her and say "TRY MAKING SOME GOOD LYRICS FOR A CHANGE WHY DONT YOU!" she makes the worst songs ever.. Big L makes me feel like making a rap that makes fun of people. he has awesome lyrics by the way. i mean, check this one out.. "you aint a leader, what nobody followed you you was never shit, your mother shoulda swallowed you" that zelda song has something about it. and then wu tang clan songs make me feel like saying one of their tons of phrases.. |
