Soldiers of Light: Discussion Thread 6
Damn, we eat through these things.
Also, for those in Team Evil who are going after the glyph deep in the temple: The glyph itself is also surrounded in a barrier. This gives the members of Team Good that are hunting you down a chance to catch up. Then, we shall fight. And it will be fun. Characters on the outside: You guys have been handling it well so far. I'll leave you to your devices. The members of team evil know about the secret entrance that the others used. Those of team good, however, will have to use Garud's staff to get through the barrier. Otherwise, you guys decide on what you want to do. |
Wait, we do?
Ugh. I could have avoided that entire attrition fiasco. Well, it's too late, I suppose. Time to pick up the pieces and call it a day. |
Well, technically, Tsubasa's henchwomen do. And they can tell you, if they feel like it.
|
If any of them survive...
Yeah, I'm working on that. ;) However the sudden rush of team good reinforcements might leave Koyuki to contemplate life with a shimmering blue wall that dosen't talk back. Down: Oh! That's right. If all else fails, convincing Sanjuro might help. However, accidently running into team good in a semi-unconcious state is hazardous for one's health. |
Don't forget Sanjuro has an amulet as well, the wily old monk gave it to him before his death.

I still think Rio is alive. In fact, if possible, Raikotsu will come across her badly wounded, barely alive, form when he leaves the temple.
Raiden, the hole you jumped into is laced with a tight mesh of ultra-sharp monofilament wires. Ouch. |
Thats the other Kimono. Rio was eaten by sea creatures. Kiyomi is the one out side the barrier that stabbed Vance through the head and then collapsed on him. And just so everyone knows, the only injuries Kiyomi suffered were a hit to the chest and a kick to the gut. Granted they were strong hits but really she is just exhausted and in pain from using her high level abilities. So after a little rest she will be fine.
But as I said, if AB says Rio's alive thats fine. I had intended her to be dead but *shrug. It IS her character so she gets final say in that regard. |
No, I meant Rio. Survive, she will, for humorous she is. Besides, the whole "eaten by sea creatures" thing seemed a little bit random.
That, and I hate sea serpents. I have lost far too much to them as it is. |
...so I would have posted Kill Garud volumes 2 and 3 last night, but my lab closes at 12 and the lab comp was being a bitch.
Anyways. I have finished my job, now let's see if Koyuki can do hers. |
Yeesh...I'm gone less than 24 hours, return, and this is what I get? I'll answer some questions here before I try to make sense of the RPS in particular...
1. Rio's Death Maybe. Maybe not. "Devoured by sea creatures" sounds pretty ridiculous [and when did we get to the beach?"], but I must judge it fairly. I'll take a look and if it looks like enough of an assault, she could be killed. If she does happen to live, she'll be out of commission for some time. I know she is a favorite as she's both very sexy and a good source of the RPS's and Omake's comedy, but fair is fair and not all the good people should live to the very end. I mean, just think of all the horror and action movies where the only black guy in the film is the first person to die. 2. Kirie's Moonsilver Daiklave I dunno what that is. I dunno what it is because Wikipedia isn't telling me anything. I can't really describe Kirie's sword too well. Just very big and very cutty. If that's a Moonsilver Daiklave, then it's a Moonsilver Daiklave. 3. Powers of Kiyomi, Takano, Mika, and Shizuka Kiyomi uses a power that, for the time being, I'll call Spear Spread. Basically, when she hits it, a jab with the spear has the effect of a sawed off shotgun blast, and when she needs range, the spear copies itself roughly a dozen times and they scatter in a cone. The spears don't travel lightning fast and they spread out far as they travel along, so anyone at medium and long range can dodge them pretty easily when she's not Spear Spreading in rapid succession. In close range, it's rather chancey. Takano turns a large area around her into an illusory nightmare (blood pouring down walls, dripping off the ceilings, the ground is completely blanketed in crawling bugs and vermin, books and other inanimate objects fly around) with hidious illusory creatures that inflict fake damage. If you can't believe that it's an illusion, you'll be convinced that damage taken from the creatures is genuine. Takano activates this nightmare dementia by singing, and by striking at the origin of her voice, you can silence her and disrupt the illusions. Her soldiers, the marionettes and whatnot, are not illusory creatures and their wounds will physically hurt you. Mika is healing and defense powers, the powers channeled through her hands. She needs both to develop truely protective shields or maximum healing, so gangbanging her is the best way to go about defeating her. If Rio is to survive, Mika will be the one to save her. It's her influence that increases the toughness and regeneration that will affect her soldiers in combat. Her soldiers are really tough, so having her close to provide that kind of support is very bad. Shizuka, the Arch Villain of Arch Villains as far as the Kimonos are concerned, uses a monstrous and very powerful mutant form, complete with kickass opera music in the background and three evil forms, the last having a "one-Winged Angel" motif going on. She can't be defeated. Her goal, instead, is to test Kurama's ability with the Raigaki. If Koyuki is a female Inuyasha, then Shizuka is a female Sephiroth. |
