... Obviously Ninjas have poor reflexes. The fourth guy or farther? That's pretty weak for being in position to strike ever since we entered the room.

You can blame Krylo, he confused me with his post stating that Drak got in right before you were ready to strike.

Truce 08-14-2005 05:33 PM

While all this is happening, you can all assume Ti is off making a nuclear bomb that will, in the end, leave everybody else dead.

By the way, no matter if Team Evil fails terribly or just barely, Talkatz will definately yell at them. Or, at least that's usually the way it is with those Demon Overlord types.

Astral Harmony 08-14-2005 06:01 PM

Thou speakest truely. Tsubasa's not particularly inclined to give a damn about what Demon Lord Talkatz says. None of the kimonos are. He can huff and puff all he likes, but it's not going to mean anything to my characters.

Like I said in my most recent post, I apologize for not posting yesterday, and as such dragging out the fight between Akimoto and Kirie.

Then again, it was probably a good thing. Any post by me in the mood I was in would involved destruction to the point that even Team Evil would of felt sorry for the general populace.

Working a "Back to School" sale for eight hours will do that to you.

We can end this whenever your want, AB. While I would prefer something a little more on the "stalemate"-y side, I'll let you choose. Just don't leave Akimoto in too much of a mess if you decide to beat him down.

But I don't want to protect Kurama! Everyone protects Kurama! I want to KILL him!

Oh wait, that's what Team Evil does.

It occurs to me that Team Good needs a healer-type. Maybe I should make one.

Astral Harmony 08-14-2005 11:08 PM

Mika's the healer. She's currently working on Rio and probably won't be on the actual team at all so your arguement is still sound.

Rio's body is going to need some exceptional healing, so I'm having a self-serving angel named Yuna the Fallen Wing provide a sexy, blonde homunculus with violet armor to focus as a functional vessel until Rio's original body is fully repaired. That whole process will be complete after the whole ordeal with the temple and the legs just so Rio doesn't get out into the field too soon after being taken out by Vance.

By the way, Raiden, you ignored the three Ice knives that Ayame threw at your character from her little position on the ceiling.

Koyuki is in position to get found by a team good person, so that they can fall for her little trick, (As I really don't see any alternative that fits the good motif) and whatever.

Mintaro 08-15-2005 12:54 PM

Just so you know, Vance isn't going to care that your injured, he isn't going to let anyone on that ship he dosn't know until Kurama shows up. As I said before, the only reason Vance works tolerates any of them is because Kurama invited them aboard. Except for sanjuro, he trusts him a little because sanjuro pulled him out of harms way when he was incapacitated.

PhoenixFlame 08-15-2005 01:05 PM

Except of course, Vance is on the ship, so he won't be the person to find me. Secondly, in a feudal society, is it not considered extremely rude to simply leave a noblewoman to die from her wounds, even if you're supposedly "on high alert." Certainly you're not the kind of good that falls for these tricks, which is unfortunate. Hopefully one of you will actually have a heart to exploit.

The whole, "Feh! I don't care you're dying, I'm protecting Kurama!" excuse seems very cold and team evilish.

This is Good versus Evil, not Faction A versus Faction B. Wasn't it you who told us that we needed to fight without honor or compassion because we were evil? This is one of those things.

You see being good requires that you have some moral code to follow, be it honor, compassion, or elsewise. Therefore, you must follow certain *rules* of engagement. Like Lazy guy showed, when Suzume did not shoot Koyuki in the back, or having second thoughts before killing demon children. Failing to follow these rules of engagement taints the reputation of Kurama and his retinue.

Granted, you don't need to take her aboard the ship right away, but acting hostile isn't going to be realistic.

Edit: I now understand that Vance is lawful neutral and not good. ((Thanks DB)) Still, I find such actions atrocious even by neutral standards. I'm sure some of the team good people will agree, as there seems to be this big rift between teams, even OOCly. Kurama however, is expected (required) to assist, as he is a samurai and follows the Code of Bushido.
