Note: This is my third turn since the original shot was impossible.
((Cyclops is within 8 hexes, which is in medium range for my LB 10-X.)) ((I am assuming since he is high up, I can spot him up there.)) Razma noticed a Cyclops starting to take aim, so Razma decided to get off the first shot before he could do anything. He managed to get him in his sights and fired. THe attack hit him right in the middle. ((Base is 4 +2 for medium range, +2 for enemy mech moving. 8 to hit.)) ((Attack roll to hit is a... 10. Location roll is a 7, so a hit to the center torso.)) Final Damage: Center Torso 10 damage. |
OOC: D1105 to D1108, climb to D1109, wait.
BIC: As the Ostroc fell, Sigil turned the Atlas south and marched it down towards the damaged Stalker near his position. "Kyle, going up to draw the Stalker's fire. Cool off, then cover me." Lucifer's targeting systems bracketed the enemy mech's head and shoulders as the reload and recharge indicators of his weapons neared completion. |
(AMS...yes 5 destroyed, ammo used 10.)
Switching his main weapons to his Pulse Medium lasers, he brought the Stalker back under his guns. Firing, he watched both lasers strike their mark, scoring the Stalkers left arm and leg. (base 3 + 4[long range]=7, neither of use moved) Pulse Med- 7 hit; role 10-hit left arm for 6 damage Pulse Med- 7 hit; role 9-hit left leg for 6 damage heat: 7(alredy had) + 8 (pulse med x 2) + 2 (enviro) + 1 (AMS) = 18 - 20 (heatsinks) gives me 0 heat. |
OOC: Walking to D708. Stalker's in short range for Mlasers and SRMs.
IC: Slowing to a walk as he got hit, Adam put his crosshairs over the Stalker again. Working his way closer to the enemy mech, it made it easy for him to fire his close range weapons. Pulling the trigger knowing something would hit at this range, the lasers and SRMs on his mech were let loose on the mech. Two of the lasers made contact, one hitting the leg the Ryan had hit, and the other hitting it in the torso. The one SRM that managed to lock, however, hit it dead center in the torso, making contact with something in the process. After seeing it get hit, Adam opened a channel to Kyle, just in case it was still standing after that. "I'm pretty sure that Stalker can take only a few more hits. So, care to do the honors if it's still standing?" OOC: TN: Base 3, +1 walking, and +2 because Squishy said so (I think). Total TN is 6. Attack: Mlas1- 1+2=3 miss. Mlas2- 2+6=8 hit. Mlas3- 4+5=9 hit. SRM-2- 4+5=9 hit. Location/Damage: Mlas2- 9, so 5 damage to left leg. Mlas3- 6, so 5 damage to right torso. SRM-2- 2, so 2 damage to Center Torso (rolled a 5 on the missles, so 1 missle hit) Criticals: Rolled an 8, so 1 critical. Critical Location Roll: 4 (don't know what it hit with that roll) Heat: 11 + 2 +1 - 15 = 0 Can someone tell me what that critical location is so I can edit it in? Thanks in advance. |
((4 is lower center torso. I rolled a 3 to determine, meaning engine hit. +5 Heat for the duration of the battle for the Stalker))
|
((PPCs and SRMs are ready to fire, heat index is at zero now.))
((Faces D1006)) Kyle waited for the heat to bleed off as he brought his guns around to level on the battle-scarred Stalker. "I'd be glad to," Kyle radioed in response to Adam's question. He locked the PPCs on the mech and opened fire. The first PPC vaped armor off the mech's right missile launcher, while the second one cored into the Center Torso and tore into internal components. ((Range is short (4) for ER PPCs. Need a 5 to hit (3 base +1 for walking +2 for evasive action) ((ER PPC 1 - 6 (hit) 4 (Right Arm) 10 damage)) ((ER PPC 2 - 11 (hit) 2 (CRITICAL HIT: Center Torso) 9 (1 Critical Hit) 10 damage)) OOC: If I need to roll which critical was hit, let me know, I haven't had to do that before. |
((If you don't mind, I'll calculate. 1+3 = Engine hit. Stalker has two engine hits, for +10 heat every round for duration. 1 more engine hit will neutralize it.))
((On your mech status sheet, it'll have roll numbers for critical hits. You roll top or bottom (1-3/4-6) with 1d6 to determine which hardpoints are affected, and then another d6 to determine the slot.)) Example. Center Torso, Stalker (CT is the same for all mechs, last two slots are free.) 1-3 1.)Engine 2.)Engine 3.)Engine-HIT, +5 Heat 4.)Gyro 5.)Gyro 6.)Gyro 4-6 1.)Gyro 2.)Engine 3.)Engine-HIT, +5 Heat 4.)Engine 5.)Empty 6.)Empty Engine Hits: [X][X][ ] Gyro Hits: [ ][ ] |
[QUOTE=Armored Bishoujo]OOC: Catching up. Just yell at me if I can't actually make these movements. I need education.
Tillie's Actions Movement: Walking from A0613 to D0604. Tillie pressed the Viktor into motion, sure that she was being overly cautious about keeping it from falling over but mentally unready to spur it into a full run. Regardless, at least she had reached the area the commander said they should be at. So, get as high as I can and use line-of-sight to draw targets and fire. Here goes. |
((Actually, you can't. That moves through two hexes of rough terrain and ascends 3 elevation levels twice. You can only walk up 2 elevation levels. How about instead, you move to D802 and form up with Alpha lance, since your mech is assault class?))
Karen watched Tillie's Victor slowly and cautiously edge up onto the field behind Alpha lance. Karen admired her courage, but any lack of confidence could actually be detrimental to the team. It was also almost comical to see such a large mech like a Victor move so timidly. Opening a private channel to Tillie's mech, a vid of Karen popped up in the Victor's lower right HUD, right over the damage readout. "Tillie, I know you're new at this, but we need every gun we've got. Since you're not in a lance, why don't you form on me? Just follow my mech and shoot the bad guys, okay?" She said, trying to act as friendly as possible. Edit: I thought Adam's lance was already full, with SC/Lazy/Nathano/Chocobo, leaving you the odd pilot out, but I may be wrong. |
OOC: "D'oh! Well, then maybe..."
Tillie's Actions Movement: Run from A613 to 814, Run from A814 to D0802, Face 903. Tillie paused, finding her original passage impossible to take. "Well, shit..." "Tillie, I know you're new at this, but we need every gun we've got. Since you're not in a lance, why don't you form on me? Just follow my mech and shoot the bad guys, okay?" Tillie almost yelped when someone's voice came on the comms. She recognized them Karen's. "I'm not in a lance? I thought Commander Adam was my lance commander." Tillie looked at her sensors. Just a little farther southeast and she should have line of sight on the enemy. Just trust your training and targeting systems and let 'em have it. |
