According to the SRD, Gloves and Gauntlets don't stack. Shirts and Armor do, however.

You're welcome. However, using twinks in Dante's games are not reccommended. His twinks have been known to destroy planets and pantheons of gods at levels below 20.

You need to know the rules very well, and realize that Wizards staff never crossread with other books to check for broken-ness.

Ok, so here's my attempt at a druid character. It's my first DnD character ever, so I likely screwed something up. If you see any problems, please alert me to them. I would also appreciate any advice, especially with equipment. The core rulebook doesn't go into detail about any cool equipment, so all I've got at the moment is what the starting package recommended. I'm still working on a background so that will come later.

Add you constitution modifier (2xclass level, or 20, for you) to HP. Roll all HP die. Basically however, yes, 80 is your average HP.

Your caster level is your druid level, 10.

Your spell DC is 10+wisdom modifier (+3) + Spell level (X). Example, 13+1 for a 1st level spell, or 14.

Dexterity does not affect ranged damage, only attack bonus.

Your Intellegence, being 12, grants you only 1 bonus language, lest you spent skill points in speak language. 2/language. I don't see any evidence of this...

Additionally, if I may, why did you spend your level points in Intellegence?

Hide armor +3: 9,000gp (Of the beast? +2 equivalent, allows use in wild shapes. Your choice.)

Scimitar +3: 18,000gp (Adamantine? Flaming? Your choice, adjust accordingly.)
Sling +1: 2,000gp (For beating /magic DR at range.)
Gauntlets of Ogre power +2: 4,000 gp (Melee boost.)
Ring of Sustanence: 2,500gp (No eat/2hr rest)
Ring of Featherfall: 2,200gp (Auto featherfall)

Good spread, especially if you intend to be in your humanoid form most of the time. Items don't function in wild shape, so if you're going to use that primarially, remember this.

Cool, thanks for the advice. I'll work on it some more tonight. For the languages, though, I think I've only got one bonus language there. From what I thought, half-elves automatically have common and elven, and druids get druidic for free. I could be wrong, but that was the impression I got from the book. As for the bonus points in intelligence, a lot of skills seemed to ride on intelligence and I liked having the +1 there, plus I got a bonus language. If you think this is a really bad idea though, I'm definitely open to suggestions :)

Hmm, the only problem with an ur-priest/Athar Defiant is I've never laid eyes on the classes. Might have to see if I can track down a copy. You have to love the irony of a cleric who doesn't believe in gods.
