Can you prove that 7 is half of 12?
|
Is this solvable? Cuz if it isnt, I could use it to annoy my Math teacher...
|
does it have to be 7 or can it be 7.4896549564349?

I'm hoping it can't be solved. *whips out calculator* Best I got was 1.714285714. Is that right?

Here a suggestion that hasn't swayed everyone. Use this same proof to deny existence itself for even more fun.
1/3=.3333333(to infinity) .3333333333(to infinity)*3=.999999999(to infinity) 1-.99999999(to infinity)=1*10^(-infinity) 1*10^(-infinity)=0 Infinity=10^(infinity) 1*10^(-infinity)*infinity=all numbers 0*infinity=all numbers By this equasion, we see that any number is just an infinite amount of nothing. Therefore, there is no difference between 7.4896549564349 and 7. P.S: Yes, I am crazy. What of it? |
Uhm...I learned in second grade that anything multiplied by zero is...zero...
|
Come on.. school dosen't start untill monday, let me rest...

You guys realize this is probably like the riddle "Is four half of five?"
The answer to that is yes, Four, IV is in the middle(half) of fIVe... So, knowing that, try and think beyond numbers... Or it could be a number answer... |
No, I believe you have to establish that 0=1 (see riddle thread for non-sensical proof), then:
12/2 + 0 = 12/2 + 1 12/2 = 6 + 1 12/2 = 7 |
