#604: "Same crap, different day."
Discuss! Y'know, in 18 of your Earth-minutes.

Did anyone else find that part of the game the most annoying? I did. And when I played the first time, on NES, with no strategy guide or internet, it took waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long. And all just for a rat tail, after I found it, I just wanted to gouge my eyes with a pointy thing. That feeling was immediately revoked after the awesome class-change, but I'm sure you all know this (or, at least, SHOULD know).
|
See, I never hit that level of frustration when playing it. I've always loved teleport puzzles, and plus, I'm pretty lucky when it comes to choosing the right ones to go through.
Anyway, with RM alone, I guess he'll be the first to have the the mind-warping vision that leaves him a withered and shattered husk or an enlightened man in a constant state of nirvana and who knows the all the questions, answers and secrets of the universe. |

Fighter always does the opposite of RM's suggestion. Which is generally a good thing.
Are the LW getting separated more and more often? |
See, that always made little sense. No, they couldn't make it warp tiles that you had to touch, it had to be warp columns! And to my knowledge, it was not the monsters inside that you had to worry about, but the repetition of them. And if you traveled all the way through God's forsaken desert, you had to worry about lack of resources, as well.

I wanna see more of these "HAM Radio Enthusasts" that Thief was talking about.....
It does seem like every day that goes by, RM Thief, and BM get dumber while Fighter stays the same... At this rate, by the end of the Comic (God forbid) Figher will indeed be the smartest of the bunch... |
Brian has stated Fighter probably already is the smartest of the bunch.
Anyways, the column puzzles weren't that hard. Just go for the southernmost one each time. I swear it works, but only highlight that if you don't want to figure out for yourself or already have. |
For me it wasn't the puzzle, it was the inhabitants.

More proof that Fighter really knows what is going on and just uses his stupidity as a cover up. He knows it all, and is even a step ahead of Sarda and Dr. Swordopolis. Why else would Fighter be so passive when being spoken to by a talking sword!
Fighter+1(even if his stupidity is just to make the story move forward.) |
