Does it count if you overcome personal demons from someone else?

Man, if only all of life's problems could be solved by a little masquerading, then saying you'll do better in the future. Too bad talk alone is cheap, but apparently it works for Black Mage.

Also, I dunno if 'personal demons' could be overcome so easily... I mean, in Psychonauts, Personal Demons had to be overcome by PSI Blasting them. Alot.

And is the thingy in that chest supposed to be a Mimic or something?

I'm impressed. I didn't think Black Mage was capable of being devious to achieve a goal. I thought it was just a habit, like chewing his fingernails. Looks like I was wrong; go Black Mage!

That was the first impression I had as well, but reading over it again it seems quite the natural and straightforward response.
The demons basically says to him: "have an introspective monologue or I eat you", so BM just takes the easier of the two options the demon gave him. It's almost devoid of devious-ness (formerly known as deviance).

Wait, will this mean Thief will have to fight BM's "Ordeal" now?

And does the Hadokuen BM was about to use on the door count for is "One Hadokuen a day"?

He never cast it, so I doubt it counts. And no, Thief won't be fighting BM's ordeal, cos BM's gonna fight them all!

If there really is an ordeal for each LW, I'd sure want to meet Fighter's.

Thats EXACTLY what I thought!
But maybe fighter will untap himself and start teleporting BM all over again....
The only Ordeal I see for RM is that damn switch!
Well that or someone ripping up his character sheet!

So... does this mean that Thief is not going to be maimed agian?
