Oh, I see what you did there Mr. Clevinger

Nuklear Age.

Page 111

3/4 or so of the page down.

It reads "Argh!" Atomik Lad screamed as he dove across Nuklear Man's lap and yanked the wheel back and forth to keep the mortality rate where it had been before their outing.

I have altered the next paragraph to show what was really going to happen, but someone changed it at the last minute.

"Sparky! What're you doing, trying to kill us?" Before Nuklear Man had a chance to push Atomik Lad back in his seat, one of those fancy flying cars crushed the roof above Atomik Lad, pinning him with his head in Nuke's lap.

See where it's headed? No? Well I better write some more. MWAHAHAHA!

The fear was amazing. Atomik Lad had never felt anything like this before. Sure, he and Nuke would have survived, but what about all the mortals? Hundreds would have died. His heart was pumping now, adreneline surgeing, and it all went to the one place guarenteed to get you in more trouble then dancing naked on the freeway.

I believe I've made my point.

Oh, by the way...

Could I get a copy of that?

He's making an allusion to homosexual antics.

Kurosen 10-13-2005 11:08 AM

Well duh. The confusing thing is that this guy seems to think that's what I intended the scene to be about on some level. I don't get it, 'cause there's nothing close to that subtext.

I just like pointing out the blatantly obvious, especially when it doesn't need to be done. Kinda funny that it was spread out over a majority of the page. No doubt that if one were selective enough they could create the most homoerotic fiction in the world by parsing words from the entire book.

When I randomly picked letters throughout the entire book, I got the phrase "Power to the Proletariat." It's not homoerotic, but it makes you think does it not?

Krylo 10-14-2005 01:15 AM

Empower the proletariat by eating at Joe's and then giving a friend road head on the way home?
