Link between ordeals and new classes.

Redreading reccent comics, I belive I have found a direct relashonship between the Ordeals and what their new class will be.

To start with, Thief. He was suposed to face the deal of greed. His nes class will be ninja. call me crazy, but I don't think a class called "Ninja" would be trying to steal money.

Next, fighter. He was tested with the Ordeal of Sloth. If you rember, Knight could use White Magic, so it makes sence he would have to use his brain more.

While this is streching, I think most belive RM will face some sort of Ordeal of greed or something like that. Again, in FF, RW had the problem of not being as good in anything as the other classes were. A jack of all trades and master of none. It seems he would have to get used to others being better then him.

I can't rember BM gaining anything from class change, so I have no idea how he fits into this.

RM's ordeal may have to deal with becoming even more versatile, as Red Wizards are far more versatile than Red Mages.

All the BW gets is far more power.

I don't think so. There's nothing Red Wizards can do that Red Mages can't, besides learn a little more powerful magic, which all mage classes get.

Meanwhile, while of course BM has been casting lvl 9 spells since the start, and Ice 9 might be one as well, Red Wizards are unable to cast level 9 (and 8 i think) spells, while White and Black Wizards can.

*SO* not true. A Red Wizard can use weak weapons & magic that a Red Mage couldn't use! BANE is a perfect example, a level 5 Black Magic spell that a Black Mage has been able to cast for ages, well now Red Wizard can cast it too, ain't that grand?

The Red Wizard is better in nearly all ways than the Black Wizard. The BW basically got nuke and some more magic, but the RW was a pretty good fighter, had all the elemental magic spells (just as good as a BW) AND on top of that healing spells.

Not that any of this has any bearing on 8-bit theater at all. A matter of fact, I'd be kind of dissapointed if there really was a class change.

I don't want class change because I think it ruin them personality etc and also they cast better spells what they supposed to cast. If they already can cast every spell but same time to be level 1 characters. Of course they got X amount experience time to time but Hadoken is bit too powerful spell to be Black Mage spell (if thinking original FF game).

A lot of the comics are just nonsense, and none of the characters have ever shown that they are capable of really overcoming a real obstacle. It might happen that RM's ordeal is a pink fluffy kitty that BM stabs to death, one of the other sets of Warriors gets the tail, and nobody learns anything.

It may very well be that Bahamut is really BM"s hobo father in disguise and says it was all just a joke on his birthday. BM kills him, and they all simply crayon their upgraded names to the back of their clothes.

If I'm guessing right, the Light Warriors are meant to gain power by embracing and seeking strength in the very worst of their flaws, and as such their new abilities will presumably reflect the perverse and cynical nature of their triumph.

hm...
is there going to be a real class change for them?

supposedly there are other real light warriors....
also if they do get a class change, are we not going to see the usual familiar sprites weve seen for the last 600+comics?
heres an idea, how about the class changes be like a powered up form, and the charecters have to go through a 13 episode powerup in order to use them? (if you take out the 13 episode power up part i think its pretty cool)
