I kinda like that kid, he reminds me of myself (or maybe he jsut looks ad talks like me)
This could be most excellent.

Just for clarification, just because something has an anime look does NOT mean it's made in Japan. And really, this is a cross between a standard anime look and a european animation look. The same style that's used in totally spies.

Anyway, from what I've heard from a person who saw the screeners, the cartoon so far is a lot less political than the comic strip. And is closer to a standard sitcom than one would hope. But the guy tends to be realyl harsh, critically. I'll have to wait and see, myself.

I believe you should always watch two episodes of a show before making a judgement. Two because you might catch the show on a bad episode of a good show, or an exceptional episode of a bad series

Okay, I just watched the premiere episode (they had it on Friday Night Fix, for people who wanted to watch it online).

I laughed far more than I expected I would, pretty much through the whole thing. Furthermore, the bumps about the show were pretty much right - I can only imagine that the standards and practice guy for Adult Swim shat himself when this came across his desk.

"See what had happened was"
"This nigga went and got a raincoat"
Most excellent

Everything that Wansler's grandson said and did was hilarious.

The whole "so well spoken" thing was great too.

Also also, the next episode will, in some form, mention the R. Kelly mess, so there's still some of the cultural comentary form the comic, just six months late, as production times are kinda longer for an animated cartoon than for a static one.

"Da f*** y'all looking at?!" The whole show cracked me up. The way those white people didn't mind being told the truth, Riley shooting Wuncler's grandson with a shotgun, and Wuncler's comment about the guy with the screwed up expression and Icy-Hot. That was the funniest cartoon period.

God I felt for Huey, when I was Little, I used to hate my teachers and tell them so, just with four syllable words and they either did the same thing they did to him or thougt I was using curse words

Like I said, the "He's so well spoken" thing was so true it hurt. There's a great deal of folks who can't understand that being black doesn't make you dumb. Making fun of these people = teh funnyz.

The bumps for episode two have me excited! It seems that the R. Kelly trial wil be at the center of the episode, along with the Boondocks-style celebrity caricature that readers love.

White guys can be calm down with cheese. Intern Nin is living proof. The dude likes cheese like a crack-head likes herion. no, seriously he injects into his bloodstream.

The funniest part was when that crazy white dude got shot with a shotgun.
