Incarnum isn't exactly magic, here's the official explanation.

The wielders of Incarnum recognize that the substance is more than mere magic. It is, very literally the essence of all creatures.

Its the soul plain and simple, there's a nearly infinite supply of it in the universe, and a person who is strong in Incarnum has an 'essentia pool' (equivelant to their mp).

Yeah, I had a problem with the Lich-King post too.... That was one pansy-assed Lich if you could just take out his phylactery like that. There would be barriers, gaurdians, dimensional shifts, illusions, probably a Nystul's Undetectable Magic Aura spell to keep it from radiating and being sensed - you would have to at least look around.

Wait, that was a Lich KING?! That's a whole different argument then, and way beyond unacceptable.

Well, he never called it a Lich King, just a lich. But, before, one of the two said they knew were one of the old kings lived, refereing to a lich. Not sure if that implied it is a Lich King or just an old lich.

Also, if that was beyond unacceptable, how were the normal undead supposed to kill the Lich King?

I think he was implying that how easily and with no at all inuries he simply killed it. And undoubatbly with teamwork IHMN its possible or with help.

Unacceptable in the terms that he just "appeared" in the Lich King's lair, which is hidden, the location known only by the other Lich Kings (except the one Valas discovered), and then destroying it in 1 hit. They're meant to be defeated by teamwork, once they're actually found and the confrontation begins.

Well, Aero's been writing General off as being vastly superior to all other PCs, so I figured if it was beyond unacceptable and worth some capital, italic letters, he shouldn't even have been able to defeat the Lich King. Then the normal PCs wouldn't have even stood a chance.

Their strengths... or at least the strengths of one of them... will be revealed in due time. It's not as easy as, *Stabs soul and it dies*, since... well, Penguin has a picture of how they'd be protecting themselves and employing their magic, and how they'd hide their phylacteries.

Oh and my character might be more powerful then the others, but Pyros claims his guy is stronger, then again I am the one with an undead army.

I never said he was stronger now. Youll see when I deign to reveal it why he will be stronger, maybe not completely in the "Smashy Smashy" sense but ya youll see when I deign to reveal it.
