Damn, that's pretty cool. I wonder how long it'll be until we're all saying, "sieg Zeon!"

Isn’t technology great and i'll take that bet and raise you 30, how much you want to bet fox or something is gonna hire these guys to make more to have mech battles, like a battlebots on steroids now that is somthing I would watch.

BitVyper 10-23-2005 12:31 AM

Actually, after reading the description, that seems to be one of the main reasons they're making them.

Wait! I saw this on techtv, it was that show that talked about unique inventors. (Did you know a lonely fat lady made cellphone cards? They'd revolutionize the world, sadly Nokia and Co. are bastards.)

Hmm...wonder why he's selling it, as he was sponsored by a small company. I suppose even they couldn't fund this money hog. Only problem with it is that it CAN'T WALK. Or move. Ya see, it wasn't designed well with balance, so unless you were using it on surface that has no incline (you'd have to get one of those balancy thingies to be sure) it'd tip over the first time you made step.

And it takes a shitload of gas to power it as well.

How can it be used to resolve future things like forest fires, and places where a normal human can't go, when it comes complete with 2 flamethrowers?

Oh well. Just you wait till we make intergalactic colonies. My clone's going to kick all your clones's asses, and is going to be the dark black one with the scythe.

produced in 2004, Prototype No#1, X-Chassis Arena Type Neo-Mech

Well then hot damn I can see it now.

Fox announcer:Coming this fall to Fox super mech battles watch two people in in big ass mechs beating the living daylights outta eatch other.

BitVyper 10-23-2005 12:43 AM

It balances, and it *can* walk, just can't take long strides.

ZERO. 10-23-2005 12:47 AM

though the footprint is designed to give stability for a biped of its size and weight it can not take massive strides

Yup says right there.

Someday, I will purchase the Neogentronyx Mech and I will use it to go trick or treating. My mind is made up.

In this, I will show no mercy. Their candies shall be devoured; fuel for my rampage. Their children shall be consumed; fuel for Neogentronyx. He hungers, young ones, and your necter is sweet.

Houses bestowing pamphlets shall know ruin and despair.

I think the only thing they'll really be used for is the arena battling. Modern warfare? Please... even the Gundam series admits that there are far more practical means of fighting a war. Fire fighting? Helicopters with water will be able to move faster, manuever better, and get there cheaper. Same goes for pretty much everything else... the only thing a mecha is good for is that it's versatile. You could use the same one to battle forest fires, then give it a gun and send it to war... but there's better machines for both wars and fires... and construction... and anything else.

However: Nothing can entertain quite as well as two giant mecha battling it out. Now if only they'd make some out of gundanium.
