Story Heroes (sign-up)
Alright, I tried this before, but not enough people joined up to do it. Anyway, this is the jist of it. A crazy geneticist has found a way to create the villains from different stories, and bring them to life. Using the villains, he has taken over most of the world. A young genecist had an idea. What better way to destroy the villains in our world, then to enlist the help of the heroes that defeated them in their world? So, he has worked hard to bring the heroes from the stories to life, hoping that they will help him.
Yes, crappy back story. I'll work on it later. Anyway, the profile stuff is below, and here are the rules. 1) Your character MUST be from a book (manga is allowed, but let's not have everyone be from manga. Then it'll just be a rip-off of the anime RP). 2) Your character must be the hero. No side-kicks, unless you give me an INCREDIBLY good reason. 3) When you make your character, try to fit yourself into what that character would have or behave like. We'd like to stay in character. That's pretty much it. Here's the profile. Name: (Name of hero) Book Title: (The book you got it from) Villain: (What is the villain of the book) Appearance: (What they look like) Weapons: (Stick with what they use in the book) Items: (Again, what they used in book) Personality: (How they act in book) Skills: (If your character uses any magic, or is especially good at something) Extra: (Anything else you'd like to say.) Alright, I'll put my thing in later. If you have any questions, just PM me. |
Muahaha, now my massive collection of sci-fi/fantasy books won't make this too hard a choice, I just ahve to find them all first...
I'll post my question in case any other people have the same question. If our character has any heavy equipment, do we get that to, like say if our character has powered armor or something? Also, what if our opponents enemy is more of an empire they fight, and there is never really one evil villian that stands out, do you want us to just list the race/empire and some info about them? Last question would be, are their any books you don't want us using, or do we have totally free reign? |
Name: Draconas
Book Title: Mistress of Dragons Villain: Maristara, a powerful elder female dragon. Uses humans and teaches them her magic of defense. Still, even without offensive magic, she can easily break someone in two. Appearance: Strong, well-muscled, bronze-skinned, grey-streaked black hair that is worn clubbed and tied at the back of his neck with a leather thong Weapons: Walking Staff (used to deal with enemies), Knife (used for hunting and such) Items: none Personality: Very serious about any work he must do, Would be first to disrespect a commanding authority if he thinks another option would be better (and go through with it), Respectful to humans, but even more so to the Parliment (the dragon council from the book) Skills: Uses Dragon offensive magic, and his staff contains the ability to wield defensive magic. Both magiks are quite powerful and deadly if used right, which he will if necessary. Extra: He is a dragon in a human body. He isn't limited to the aging of humans, but can get hurt like one. Rarely will he change into his dragon form, only in dire situations (which are usually dire only for his allies and not himself). Also, he follows his Parliment's Three Dragon Laws: 1) Dragons cannot take human life. 2) Dragons may not interfere in human affairs. Dragons may not coerce, intimidate, force, threaten, resort to trickery or extortion in their dealings with humans. 3) Dragons, with one exception, should have no dealings with humans. |
Nice profile, Master!
Now, Forever, you bring up some good questions. If he has super armor, then it depends on what it is. PM me what kind of stuff he has, but usually, any armor he has is alright. I might put a limit on it, though, depending on what it is. And if it's an empire, then we'll do this. Take a general, king, soldier, whatever of that empire that is exceptionally standing out to YOU, and use him. If there really isn't one, then under that circumstance you can CREATE your own villian. But, he must be subservient to the empire, and he must act like a stereo-typical person would in that empire. And ANY book is useable, even manga, but with reason. I don't want a whole bunch of manga characters. But really, if it's been published, it's free ground. |
I'm going to go with a standard book character, and I don't know if I'll use the sci-fi character or not, it was just a question. I'll PM you first if I decide to use him, otherwise I'll just post.

Raiden, have you ever read Mistress of Dragons? It is a very good book, and is part one in a trilogy. I can't wait til the second one comes out.

Name: Belgarion "Garion"
Book Title: Belgariad Villain: Kal Torak, The dark God of the Angarak. Deformed and driven insane by the Orb of Aldur. Appearance: A muscular sandy haired young man. He can shape change into a wolf if necessary. He also hass the mark of the orb on his right hand. Weapons: Sword of the Rivan King (Greatsword) Items: Orb of Aldur pommelstone of his sword. Personality: He doubts his abilities and is a very rational youth. He'd prefer to live peacefully, but will fight if necessary. He doesn't like the fact that he is a tool of the prophecy, but still does his job. Skills: Sorcery, Farm life, sword fighting, and cleaning Extra: The orb acts as a focusing crystal for Belgarion's sorcery. It is a sentient being in and of itself. It makes his Great sword lighter. (On it's own, due to the density of the metal used, the sword is unweildable. with the orb it's light enough Garion can weild it in one hand very dexterously.) Sets it on fire when drawn. Only Garion can touch it safely, it will kill any body else who touches it unless they are a god, and even then it's up to the orb. He uses Sorcery (the will and the word) but only uses it when necessary. Other sorcerors know when sorcery is used around them. He can do almost anything with his sorcery except target a Dragon (they are immune), bring back the dead (he did it twice, but both were special cases necessary to the prophecy.) or unmake something, (If he tries to unmake something, he explodes) |
As if you had to ask... I'm taking Dark Schneider! Will post a bio soon, but evil work hampers me.
Either that, or Rand Al'Thor. |
I should so do an alchoholic Frodo Baggins...
|
Dante, you better be a good Dark Schneider. Or else I'm gonna have to whip out a spell and Mega Death your sorry ass.
So far, everything is good. And no, Master, I haven't read the book yet. But it was a good profile you did. I'll put mine up soon. I just need to think of one... I could take Roland of Gilead, but then BMHadoken would be pissed off at me. |
