Doubt you'd get my sorcery. My charachter was trained his entire life to beable to do it, and he still discovered it by accident. Of course he never knew he was being trained, and he was very whiney about the whole ordeal.

Also, future reference. don't touch his blue jewel. I know it glows all pretty, but DO NOT TOUCH IT. The last person who touched it and didn't have the mark of the orb, had half his body burned away. the only reason he survived was cause he was a god.

I don't think you'd get their skills. Most of the characters went through a bunch of training to get their skills. The skills a person recieves through training doesn't get ingrained into their DNA. So, you'll look like them, but you can't do their super stuff. I'd recommend sticking with animals.

K then, just wondering...although I'll still get the DNA anyway to fool the enemies or whatnot...and what about Ranger's char being overpowered...

Hah, finally got my character up.

Name: Luke Skywalker
Book Title: Thrawn Trilogy (Star Wars)
Villain: C'baoth, an insane, dark jedi who's powers rival or are superior to the Emperor's.

Weapons: Lightsaber with a green blade.
Items: Canteen, blaster back up (I think), spare power cells for his lightsaber, miniture grappling hook.

Personality: Luke is sort of an enlightened warrior. He follows the path of the Light Side of the force, and is developing his skills as the only true remaining Light Jedi Master. He fights for what he believes is right, is a fierce warrior when he must fight, but he doesn't give in to rage, hatred, or anger, for they lead to the Dark Side. He is a source of wisdom and insight, is almost always calm and ready, and does what is necessary as long as it doens't break the Jedi Code.

Skills: One of the greatest lightsaber wielders living, the energy blade of a Jedi can cut or melt through almost everything, has almost no weight, and while being melee only, a Jedi can use his skill with a lightsaber to reflect energy shots shot at him, or use the force to block solid weapons used against him. The Force is the constant companion of a Jedi, and allows them to do eveything from manipulate minds, to heal themselves, to effect physical objects with onlly their mind, but as a Light Jedi, Luke only uses the force for defense and never attack.
Extra: Left hand was replaced with a robotic one, but the hand looks and acts human.

Don't worry, you'll get used to it.

And don't worry about the over-powerful thing. You'll find how to get the balance right soon. You should have seen the first character I made. It was Raiden, the Thunder God swordsman. You couldn't kill that guy. Until the guy that made the RP told me to make a new character, or get the hell out of the RP.

And I think I'll have Ax take Jad's DNA (so he has the mark) and touch the orby...he can just morph back all fair and square without a scratch if I remember correctly...

Yeah, anytime they morph, they return to their unhurt status since morphing is through DNA.
