The orb is an intelligent entity. A very powerful entity. As I said, it kicked a god's ass when said God pissed it off. It for some reason or another thinks of Garion like a puppy thinks of it's master. It would know some how you aren't the real thing, and do you really want to risk pissing off something that powerful?

I know, and as I said It would know. The orb in the story only let three people touch it and let them live. Garion, the Father of the gods, and the other became a god. It is sentient being of it's own and it would need it's own reason to let someone else touch it. Even if he was a genetic match, I think the orb would somehow know it wasn't the real Garion.

IHMN, taht's not how the series went. Morphing is through DNA, so if you were shot or broke a limb, all you need to do is morph and it is healed. The problem with that is you can't really move or fight while morphing, and it takes a minute or two to morph, so he couldn't just run in to battle, morphing in and out to be nearly invincible. He would have to retreat from battle for a bit, morph into something, morph back, then return to battle.

When I read a book, the bird guy had a broken wing. He morphed, then when he morphed back, the wing was still broken, and worse since the morphing.

What I remember is a girl getting shot, morphing to a bear to attack her attacker, then morphing back unscathed, just tired from morphing...

I don't remember that one, but there are times there battle morphs would take horrrible stabs and burns and such, and as soon as the morphed, back to normal.

Well if nothing else, we're waitng for Raiden, but it has been days and Celes hasn't posted...

she's trouble finding a female charachter that isn't 1) lame and 2) have a lame villain.
