Okay, in the wake of all the SC3 excitement, I have decided to start a new RP. My story will be different however, continuing where SC2 left off, but including the new characters. Let me give you the story-line:

It has been 5 years since Soul Edge, the cursed sword, has surfaced. Krita-yuga (I'm pretty sure that's Soul Calibur) has also disappeared. Both swords have been seeked, but there was no proof that they even existed.

You have been training for 5 years, under the wise man named Edgemaster. On your graduation from his mastery, he grants you a weapon and tells you a secret. That two swords of legendary power exist. He tells you that you have been in training to destroy one, and recover the other, as have the others with you. But this is where the path splits...

...As you hear of Soul Edge, and it's attrocities, you feel more and more enraged at the evil sword. You decide to join your friends and permanently remove the taint of the cursed sword once and for all.

...As you hear of the power that could be attained from wielding this sword, you become more and more eager to sample this power for yourself. Your decision is in agreeance with others, with whom you decide to join forces with. Of course, you will betray them the first chance you get, wont you?

Abilities: (you have a limit of three, and they have to be reasonable)
Soul Charge: (Your finisher move. This can only be used in destiny battles though, and renders you unconcious no matter what happens to the opponent)
Bio: (your history, reasons for joining edgemaster, and your particular side, etc)
Extra: (not necessary, but some random facts may be put here)

Okay, and just to clarify, characters that are part of the actual SC story are not useable unless you PM me for permission.

Not everyone on the roster is allies, even if they are on the same side. Okay, so sign-ups are officially open.

And being a huge Mitsurugi fan, I'd place him in the "on the fence" category. He's not searching for Soul Edge because he wants to do good. He's just looking for a challenge. In fact, in Soul Calibur III, every character gets two endings, and depending on how you run it, he takes either the Soul Edge OR the Soul Calibur.

He's not trying to be a hero, he's just kicking ass and taking names.

well there is the slight problem that Nightmare has the soul edge (or part of it if you follow SC2) and Xianghua has soul calibur. So will this play in at all or are you just gonna smash that part of continuity?

I'm assuming you haven't played SCIII, Aerozord.

In the third one, Siegried managed to pierce Soul Edge with Soul Calibur. The mixing of these two swords caused them to fuse together. Technically, they're now just one HUGE sword.

Nightmare basically IS Soul Edge. He's parts of the sword, and the sword fused a bunch of souls together to form a new body for Nightmare until he finds a new host, since Siegried is no longer his puppet.

Xianghua does not currently have Soul Calibur, since Soul Calibur has been fused with Soul Edge, and Siegfried is currently carrying the large sword around trying to find a way to fully destroy it.

(And Garud, I'm working on sending you the intro movie to the third one. It should help out a bit with this RP...and it kicks some SERIOUS ass.)

thanks, I haven't played it yet...mainly out of hatred that it was PS2 only.

Ok, I've read over the posts and,

Raiden: Ok, you are approved to be Mitsurugi, and I'll change him to on the fence. Just put a sign up sheet when you are ready. Oh and thanks for the intro help, I'm gonna need it.

Aerozord: You can be Taki. Like I said, just put a sign up sheet when you are ready.

Thorque: Dont be so spammy, but you can use Yoshimitsu.

This RP is going to be very free form, with not a tight storyline. We are going to need a few more people to register if this is going to work out right now.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. Sign ups are still open if anyone is interested, and will probably stay open even after this RP has started. It will begin about a week from now.

I'm pretty sure they have different styles, but i dont have the game, so i woul not know. I'm assuming Nightmares style is similar to SC2, and Sigfreid's is the sam as his SB's style. But either way, they are the only characters which I will not let anyone use.

There is still alot of characters that you can use though, or you can make your own if you want. Just ask me first if you want to use an already there story member.

Ohh I wish I have the time to do Seigfried.... ( NO ONE CAN BEAT MY AS HIM exsept ultra-extreamly hard people)
