8-Bit Theater has changed

8-Bit Theater has changed quite a bit. Look at #1 and then look at #619. I hope 8-Bit Theater never ends! :sweatdrop

So does all of us. I wonder what Brain has in mind for when he gets to the end of the game.

It's Brian, not Brain, Big Gater >_> just correctin' ya.

Of course it's changed... he has been doin' this for some odd years :D You tend to learn a thing or two, doin' it that long.

In all honesty, I believe I remember Brian once mentioning that the story had been roughly planned out to its end, and so it does have one if I'm not mistaken. With any luck, however, after such an ending a new webcomic will be begun by Brian in its place. I'm hoping so, anyway.

My apologies in advance if this information is incorrect.

As long as he doesn't do FF2. >_>

FF3j would be excellent. Still 8-bit sprites, and 4 new chars to play aroudn with. Who would he make homocidal? :D

From the looks of it, Brian has a comic that can go on for another 3 to 8 years.

I hardly see it being a bad thing that the comic will eventually end, though; it would eventually get impossibly unwieldly to keep it going at some point (since the comic still has to vaguely follow FF1's plot), and I think Brian at some point would like to be able to sit back and be proud of something he accomplished. It'll also give us some closure on how this story ends, and I know most of us are curious what twisted destiny our light warriors are going to meet. And we'd like to find out in our (and Brian's) lifetime, and before he runs out of punchlines to make, and before most of us lose interest in his story.

Yes, there will be an end, but it is quite a ways off. We're really only halfway through the game, so we should have around five years left, if not more. We can trust Brian to take his time getting there and do a damn good job with it.

However, Brian's confirmed he won't be doing any other comics or anything after that. 'Twill be sad, 'tis true, but like I said, that's a good half decade off. I think we'll manage.

Speak for yourself. Some of us will then lead meaningless and unfit lives when 8-Bit ends..

All good things must end sadly. It'll be a sad day when 8bit ends, but I hope Brian keeps the site going for other people to read the comic. I still re-read it from start to finish every so often, and love it every time. I'm already at episode 511 from starting over sometime last week.

Fastest I've ever read through it was 1 and a half days.

You'll look pretty stupid when it turns out "Brian Clevinger" is just a cover identity for Krang.
