Why Black Belt WILL INDEED live again!

Warning- this is a plot spoiler. It has to do with the end of FF1. If you have not played to the end and don't want to know the final course 8-bit will eventually take- don't read this!

Proof that BB will live again:

Notice that after the light warriors return from the past, 'it will be to their past. all signs of the battle with the Forces will be erased.'

What does that mean? The ultimate ending of 8-bit will be that BB's demise will never have happened. Assuming Brian doesn't just continue the story using his imagination and kills him off again. In that case my whole theory is shot to pieces.

Due to budget constraints, 8-Bit Theater will not be featuring any of the time traveling stuff that was in the game.

Black Belt is dead forever.

POS Industries 11-05-2005 10:41 PM

An interesting point, but Brian's too tricky for that. Also, if there is one thing I've learned in my week and a half of haunting these forums, it's that any prediction is doomed to prove false because predicting it automatically disqualifies it as a possible direction that the story/characters/ramen noodles would take. I hate to break it to you, but you just killed your own theory. I'm sorry. Have a cookie.

Also, every call to bring back Black Belt will simply make him more dead. And also send him to Hell. Please don't doom BB to Hell anymore.

Look! Proof!

The closest I get is when Sarda edited time to finish his dinner before he made it and when Black Belt is allowed to wander around on his own.

From this topic.

This whole "Black Belt will be back" idea that surfaces every week or so needs to be stamped out, officially, within the comic itself. Look for it soon-ish.

D-ohh! Sorry Brian. And here I thought I was discovering something new. I read the BB warning post but thought this was beyond the bounds of that since I wasn't just asking you to bring him back for story sake.

No time travel?! That's just the kind of madcap adventure they'd go on! bah! Anyways, sorry for um..doing this. You can delete the thread if it get's under ya skin. :D

plus, this theory doesn't work in the 8-bit univarse. It says the four light warriors. BB is not in the Light warriors, he's just a random, dead, kungfoo guy. Nice try.

When the FOUR return...
No way in hell BB is one of the "four". :D

Not only will Black Belt resurrect, but the South will rise again. Holy tarnation!

POS Industries 11-06-2005 05:17 AM

*looks plaintively at the darkness around him*

Is there a "Close Thread" button in the house? Anybody?

hellooooooo...?

/sigh
