NPF Gundam: Discussion (closed RP)
 

These are censored profiles. They only contain information the others can easily notice such as appearance. Also weapons that I feel any decent pilot would recognise, most likely they will have other weapons. I will also include names for referance and because its pretty minor.

Profile: Theblindmime
Name: Ino Yamada
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance: Long black hair tied into a ponytail, shimmering blue eyes, somewhat pale. Stands at about 5'4" and about 130 pounds. She has a tattoo of black wings upon her back.
Nation: New Japan

Gundam
Basic color: Green
Appearance: Built aerodynamically sound it looks as if it was designed to fly and fight in the air and nothing more. It seems somewhat petite when you look at its rather large jet packs.
Weapons: 2 epyon style energy whips which can solidify there shape to become blade edges(they cannot stand up to energy blades), a submachine gun

Name: Jolarin Nas
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Appearance: Jolarin is small wiry and somewhat weak, like his Gundam. He is 5'3'' tall and weighs 100 pounds. He has strait red hair that falls down to the bottom of his neck and blue eyes.
Nation: Sagittarius

Basic color: Chameleon color is part of its ability (see special abilities)
Appearance: Chameleon is a small Gundam, almost half the size of the rest and smaller then some mobile suits. It takes the standard shape of a Gundam with twin light machine guns mounted on its head. The one distinguishing features are a pair of engines mounted on its back.
Weapons: Light head machine guns

Gender: Male
Appearance: A little on the lean side. Tends to wear lose clothing outside his combat suit he wears when piloting his Gundam. His eyes seem a redish brown, with his hair also having a slight red tint to its dark brown.
Colony: Colony 163
Nation: Pheonix

Gundam
Basic color: A Redish orange color.
Appearance: Shard phoenix screams speed and dexterity, with its multiple boosters equiped and the Red wings that extend from its back. Though its frail design looks like it couldn't take much damage before falling over.
Weapons: machine guns mounted in the shoulders, and the weapon that got the 'Shard' In Shard Phoenix.

Name: Thomas Allgood
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Appearance: 6'2" with a lean-muscular frame. Has shaggy blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. Wears a leather jacket and jeans when outside his gundam, but wears the standard-issue uniform when piloting.
Nation: Andromeda

Basic color: Blue and white

Has a jetpack underneath a large artillery rifle hanging from the back. It's left arm is covered by a large foreshield used when fighting with the saber. A pistol hangs in a slot from the right hip, and the saber handle is kept on the left shoulder until activated.
Weapons: An energy pistol, large artillery gun hanging from back.

Now there are a few who still need to send me a profile. They are still in, as soon as i get the profile I will post it. Also I didn't post beam sabers since they are often concealed or atleast hard to see.

So in a few moments I will have the RP up. So you know you all got the same opening and that will be the first post. This will be free form but I advise some teamwork.

Appearance: She's 5'5", 109lbs, with red shoulder-length straight hair. Icy blue eyes, and a trim, lithe build. Not muscular, but dexterious

Appearance: Generally manlike. Based off of battletech's clan second-line mech, the Vixen. ((You can find a picture of it at www.chaosmarch.com under "Mechs->Clans of Kerensky->3055->Incubus A")) Right arm carries a large energy-weapon pod.
Weapons: Right Arm: 1x Magna Firestar Extended-Range Particle Projection Cannon. (Low refire, High energy consumption/heat generation, High damage, Long range.)

Name: Skirnir Vidar
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Appearance: Skirnir stands at six feet tall. He has blonde hair that comes down to his ears. He has ice blue eyes. He is rather average looking, and has a toned body, but not built, if you get the idea.
Nation: Yggdrasil

Gundam
Basic color: Black
Appearance: Einherjar basically looks like this, but it's a little different. Replace thecanno with a small machine gun, and put one on each saide, a la Wing Zero, and both shoulder pads are spiked. Also, there is no wrist-mounted blade, and it has the usual two-eyes instead of the single long visor.
Weapons:
Heat Mace (1) (I took the heat from the wikipedia description for the blades that Sandrock uses in Gundam Wing)
Engery rifle. (1)

Aerozod, I sent you my profile, waiting on you to approve it. However, one question.

Do we know about each other, or is this first chapter our fateful meeting? More specifically, we know there probably are others, but do we have open comm channels with them? IFF configured to show them as friendly?

Knowing gundam we have open comms but our IFF is unconfigured.

EDIT 2: Also...and this is a little late since I already sent in my bio...am I wrong in assuming that all the Gundams have some sort of flight capabilites? If I recall correctly, in Gundam Wing, all of were able to fly to some extent, and also, I assume since we are starting in a vaccum-type environment, that we have some sort of flight abilites...even if we didn't state them. :shifty:

you all know what nation each other from and that you are gundams.

You are equiped for low gravity enviroments but will need a refit if you want to move well in a colony or on Earth. In a gravity enviroment you will all have basic jumping and hovering (for short periods), but only certain gundams can sustain flight.

Your profiles are fine and I will be adding them. Feel free to start posting. There might be a few more coming in but this will be about it.

So we don't know the names of the Gundam pilots but we do know what the Gundams themselves look like (if not the abilities) and where they are from right?

Edit: I have a question unrelated to this rp, does anyone know if my roleplaying skills have gotten better since I've joined? I have been wondering this for a while.

Well I've found it easier to read your posts. No offense, but it mentally hurt me at times to read what you wrote near the beginning. But you're getting better.

And all we know about the gundam and it's pilot is the nationality and appearance of the gundam. Unless we've had some kind of run in with the other pilots before, we won't really know their names.

No offense taken, I looked at some of my past posts and I almost cringed because they were always two liners, I just wanted someone elses opinion.

Ok that makes sense, makes some things a little easier and other a little harder but overall its good.
