Okay, summary of the plot.

There are effectively two worlds. The Real World, and a slightly more trippy Matrix-like construct called the cyber world, which exists for stuff such as recreation and commerce. Cyber Force operates in both.

About two years ago, an AI named Mastermind damn near destroyed both worlds. A group established by the UN named Cyber Force stopped him. There was some collateral damage and some fascinating backstory.

Flash to now. There was multiple attacks in the Cyber World by someone claiming to be mastermind, prompting the UN to reform some of the original group and find out if it IS mastermind that is back.

Name: Joshua Smith

Codename: Jack of Spades

Age: 27

Appearance: Joshua's spook uniform is his suit and mirrorshades, which he promptly discards after working hours in favor of a loosely buttoned shirt and jeans. He's rarely found without a cigarette in his mouth, though recently he;s been trying to quit for the sake of his children. Joshua usually has a small black pouch on his hip, which contains a pair of unfolding batons used in his escrima techniques. He wears no jewelry apart from a simple silver band on his right ring finger, which goes around a chain on his neck during ops.

Rank: Former 1st Lieutenant

Bio: Formerly from the US Army Rangers, Joshua was poached by the CIA after his commanders noted his facility for deception and disguise while running ops against Christian fundamentalist terrorists. During agent training, he received instruction in such fields as cybernetic teleoperations, tradecraft, and electronic espionage techniques. His skillset is primarily subtle in nature, though he maintains his combat training.

Joshua has a wife and twin daughters, but he rarely talks about them, because they were relocated to an undisclosed location under the WITSEC program, to ward against retaliation by terrorists and other people he's antagonized in his line of work.

Extra: Joshua is on loan to Cyber Force for the duration of this mission, due to his experience with real-world and cyber-world intelligence operations.

Why does no one else want to join my side. Just cause Cyber Eden isn't main continuity, nobody wants to join us.

MC43 03-09-2006 11:13 PM

I'm a part. Go Cyber Eden!

Speaking of which... when are we moving on to plan B?

Squishy Cheeks 03-09-2006 11:23 PM

soon

batgirl 03-10-2006 09:56 AM

Hopefully sooner rather than later, I'm getting bored.

Darth SS 03-10-2006 05:55 PM

I also eagerly await for something to happen.

lazy man 03-10-2006 07:57 PM

Hmmm... After a little bit of thinking, I'm starting to wonder if Hobo-Ryan would fit in or not, considering the avatar changing thing.

So, just to make sure, would that work, or am I just trying a little too hard to be creative?

Wolf99x 03-10-2006 10:30 PM

Personally, I'm at a loss as to how it would work...but maybe that's cause i'm not thinking correctly.

Vergil 03-11-2006 08:58 AM

Is my character approved?

batgirl 03-11-2006 09:58 AM

Yea go for it, get in before they leave for the mission.

Darth SS 03-29-2006 06:49 PM

*raises hand*

Jax put out the fire. Sprinklers don't go off that fast.

Just suck it up and suck face.

batgirl 03-29-2006 06:57 PM

Simon has a very complex and sensitive security system, so sprinklers going off is the least of your worries. You worry about Jax, I'll worry about having my fun.

*Lights his hand on fire* don't question a co-GM who is ill. I don't do things without talking them over with batgirl first, so it's kind of obvious it was allowed.

and yes, this is a hindsight thing but whatever.

MC43 04-01-2006 04:32 PM

Hm... I have a feeling this is gonna go "FF7" in the slums soon... this can't be good...

Squishy Cheeks 04-01-2006 05:51 PM

i was thinking the same thing

Darth SS 04-01-2006 06:10 PM

Jax is caged into a room with a whole bunch of prostitutes?

Give me a moment. My brain literally just blanked as it encountered something completely unexpected.

Raiden 04-01-2006 06:28 PM

Wow.

He should be happy.

Unless the prostitutes have been trained in the finer arts of Seduction Kung-Fu.

Then he should be afraid. Very afraid.

batgirl 04-09-2006 07:41 AM

Sorry about the lack of update. I've had a rough weekend to say the least. Let it be known that I am very very unhappy and I woke up at 8am on a Sunday to go to a lacrosse game. I'll have the update done by tonight.
