Well, that girl (diclonius, I think) was a bit bloody and naked and chained, so I can imagine that those who made Elfen Lied is interested in stuff like that. But anyway, the art was cute.

I read nana's everyday life. It was funny at first, but then it went too far.

Is anyone familiar with that, and if so, is elfenlied anything like it?

I've never read it, and every link I find to it seems to indicate that it does not exist any more. Anyway, unless Nana spends the first 8 minutes of the comic walking through a containment facility dismembering people, then it's probbly not quite like that. Even the loveable clumsy girl that you would expect to be the main character gets decapitated and used as a human shield.

Not really a hentai, I only watched parts of the first and second episode but by god it was violent.
