You get what you deserve.

About time somebody put that blowhard in his place. I wonder if Mr. Thompson is going to start attacking judge Moore now.

Raiden 11-21-2005 03:06 PM

His retaliation was sending a letter to a major board about the judge's 'ethics'. He is the last person who should be questioning the ethics of others.

All in all, all I can say, is that I figured it would happen. These people are entirely too logical - being judges and all - to do something like 'listen' to jack thompson, and I figured that eventually he would get officially owned from a judge who wouldn't listen to him.

I mean, he's been the scapegoat of the community for a while. I figured eventually a judge would do something.

Well, come on. This was going to happen sooner or later. Jack Thompson's WIS, INT, and CHA penalties have to be incredible, and that's not a good thing if you're a lawer. If he wanted to be a barbarian or something, I think that would have been better. If I was his DM I'd have probably have given him a re-roll on those stats, because trying to make a campaign that's not going to kill him just isn't fair to all the other players.

Even the people he's defending don't like him.

Burned.

He would make an awesome barbarian. He has all the feats for it, like Singletrack Mind, Forceful Tactics, and Unnecessary Intimidation.

With respect, I think that would be true only if those families he was representing filed the motion, and they'd be the plaintiffs in this case. The defense in this case is representing all those companies and corporations that make and sell video games; or at least this is what I gather from the article at the link provided.

Yeah. And I'm an idiot. ^^

In my defense, I shall say that when I was reading the article in which the NIMF tells Mr. Thompson to stop using its name and had that in mind while both reading that article and making that post. ^^;

And yeah...let me say again, I am an idiot.

GARUD 11-23-2005 02:18 AM

You aint an idiot Ecurt, just a delicious Turkey. MMM...Turkey.

Anyway, he got what he deserves. But this guy is an actual idiot. He wont stop until they send him to prison. Time in the slammer will show him just how real GTA:SA is, except, he wont be going to a prison with females.

Despite the fact that this is true, I will deny it no matter what anyone says...the loss is disapointing, but I have decided to leave going after Rockstar Studio's for a while, and go after a lesser known company. I am putting all of my money on this case, and I am confident that I will win with a big payout. So all I have to say is, see you in court Square-Enix!"

That's a true quote^^
