I wish Cesia hadn't come... Then I could just destroy this entire room.

Lynx had pushed his ice wall down, onto the shadow warriors, killing both of them. And as he expected, another one came right at him after the shield was gone. Lynx did all he could to avoid the fighter while charging up a fire spell.

OOC: BM, Bangaaman uses a spiked chain and a sword now...

There was no reply from the lizardman as he pressed his advantage, holding his sword in a reverse grip, point facing Jude. With his other hand, he threw the chain forward, and it wrapped around Jude's spear. Then he pulled, hard, jerking Jude forward and into the crackling blade, even as he released another surge of energy down the chain.

"Thanks Kalimare..." Dawn grabbed a hold of his hand and pulled herself up onto her feet, looking back over towards Jude. "I know but...." She stopped herself. "Okay... the others probably need my help..." She said a bit hesitantly, but knew that her real job right now was to help the others defeat Cid. Jude could surely handle himself. Right..?

Jude quickly let go of the spear, favoring a non-bleeding body. He landed behind the lizard, who growled then snapped Jude's spear.

"HEY, I like that one." Jude cried, then focused his energy into his palms and shot out a quick gust that blew the warrior back, allowing Jude to retrieve the top part of his spear, which was now about as long as a medium sized sword. Jude grabbed onto it with both hands, then saw the chain swinging around again.

He rolled under it, grabbed the bottom part of the spear, then spin-threw it at his opponents head, ctaching the lizardman square on the helmet, producing a satisfying clanging noise.

Jude rose and jumped into the air, then grabbed the spear with both hands and prepared to drive it into his enemies skull, but got cut off by the sword at the last minute

Electricity crackled and breakneck winds whipped around them as the two were in a standstill, then Jude pushed off with a jump, and stood again, clutching half a spear and breathing deeply.

"I'll kill you, even if I have to die to do it...just thought you should know."

OOC: I may not be able to post regularly for the enxt few days, so if I don't log on for a while feel free to take over bangaaman.

"And you call me cliched..."

Knowing that Jude couldn't defend himself eggectively now, the lizardman lashed out with its spiked chain, aiming for Jude's right arm, at the same time coming in fast from his left. Jude sidestepped the chain, then laughed.

"Nice try... learn how to aim next time!"

"Watch thiss..."

The lizardman jerked the chain, and suddenly it curved back in mid-air, seeking Jude's head, crackling with energy. Jude noticed it, then realized he was in a hell of a fix. If he touched it with his spear or his bare hands, the charge would be conducted into him. But if he didn't, it would strike his head or neck and he would surely die. "Neither options 1 nor 2 is good..."

Then take option 3.

Jude grinned, and from underarm he tossed a single dagger at the chain. It struck true and pinned it tot he nearby wall.

"How'd you like that, lizard?"

THe lizardman said nothing, but its frustration was evident.

Kalimare looked to Dawn. He could tell that she wanted to do something for Jude, since he was the one that had saved her from the lizardman. Kalimare sighed and then spoke.

"If you wish to help Jude, then help him now. I can climb you up the wall and directly to the battle above if you hold around my neck from my back. The decision is yours, but you need to think fast."

Ark spun around, both blades flashing in a whirl. Equivalants of arteries gushed around him, and he sheathed his dagger, then held his sword up two handed by his side.


"Tama, you ready?"

Cid began to pepper the room with fireballs. Gin dodged as best he could and closed. Cid broke and ran from the room. Gin took chase.

OOC: Finally something changes...

Vace had just wiped out yet another of the seemingly infinite shadow warriors when fireballs hammered everyone in the room. Vace took a direct hit but his armor deflected most of the force, but the worst effected were Cid's own Shadow warriors as the wave of flames struck one after another and they vanished. Vace took the opportunity of the lowered number of shadow warriors to take off after Cid who he saw trying to escape.

OOC: Should I just somehow close the exit to the room, or is he supposed to be running (As is Celes said he is supposed to, not Jad deciding he should)?
