Vace stepped back as the shadow beast came at him with a spear, trying to impale him on the end with it's superior reach. He jumped back again, then brought his sword down on the spear, sticking it to the ground so he could step on it and step forward to stabbed the shadow with his charged sword and it vanished into thin air as well. Vace looked around at all the shadows still there and said, "Are we actually killing them?! It seems for every one we kill, two more pop up!"

Gin struck at Cid while blocking his burning sword. Cid attacked again Gin crossed his swords and trapped the blade. "Give it up, I'm to powerful for you." Cid said.

"Your slow in that armor of yours. eventually you'll tire and I'll airata that suit of yours." Gin replied. His blades began to darken from the heat of Cid's sword. Cid in a flurry of motion attacked again Gin was now on the defensive. He deftly blocked the attacks but Cid was attacking so hard and so rapidly Gin didn't have time to counter. The fight had moved from the throne room. into the hall. Gin broke off at a run dodging fireballs from Cid. Cid chased after his brother.
