Your favorite non-character?
 

A non-character is a character that isn't important in the story overall of videogames. It can be a random NPC that says 'Welcome to {Insert-name-here}!', it can be an enemy that doesn't really do anything important, it can be a mascot that is just cute but not as good as another character.

Write here your favorite non-character.

Mine is probably a Shy Guy (from Yoshi's Island, because that game has the best version I've seen, which is the very awesome sparkling Fly Guy) or a Mr. Saturn (from Earthbound. Best. Mascot. Ever. ZOOM!). Or a Raven. Ravens are cool little black-feathered guys.

Personaly I've always liked the guy at the fron gate of the first town in Thousand Arms, for those who don't know it's an old RPG for PS1, His line was esentialy "Welcome to [name of town]. What? Why am I here? I'm not sure but for some reason everyday I have the urge to stay here and say 'Welcome to [name of town] to everyone that passes by. Weird, huh." it been so long since I've played that game but that one guy has stayed in my mind this whole time. Really it's between him or the guy in Wild Arms 2nd: Ignition, who says bitch in one of his lines, but I was in like Jr. High when I played that game.

I really liked Lil' Cactus from Legend of Mana. He was a non-essential character who would write down accounts of your adventures in his diary. But I loved reading his accounts of my own adventures. Lil' Cactus was hilarious.

Big Joe is up there, definitely.

Big Joe was annoying as hell, I hated the fact that no matter how hard or long I fought to get to a certain place he was there first.

Also there is a house in Earthbound in Threed, when you go up to it you hear a scream and the person apolgizes for having the TV up too loud. Or how everyone in Onett is "playing" that new game Earthbound. Speciffically this one Shark, who asks if you want to join the gang, and I said yes. He told me to finish Earthbound. I was stuck there for 3 hours trying to figure that one out...

Yeah, but that's his whole charm! He's such a total bastard I couldn't help but enjoy the hell out of his various appearances. At least they took the time to explain his superior abilities and odd personality, if nothing else.

I have to double up on the Mr. Saturn thing. I mEaN It'S nOt EvErY dAy YoU FiNd A WhOlE RaCe WhO tAlKs LiKe ThIs! gOoDy! DiNg!

Oh hell yeah, now I wanna play Earthbound yet again. The Mr. Saturns were amazing.

Okay, upping this... I've gotta say, another cool character is the eternally funny Poochy. It's the cutest dog I've ever seen, and you can't say no!

Also, those monsters in Chrono Trigger that have a magical dresser that hides a Gate. That's the epitome of house-breaking.

And before I forget, let's not forget another great character... the ultra, very, totally, you'd-better-believe-it, awesome... CANNON PEOPLE from the Secret of Mana series! Blasting you across the world in no time!

And Banekujako mushrooms from Seiken Densetsu 3. Whee, I'm flying! *CRASH!* Ouch. I'm okay!

On other news, Super Mario World 2 was ranked as the best SNES platformer.

He's Slimy, 8 tentacaled, and purple. He's ULTROS! He's so much fun to fight AFTER the first fight. first fight is annoying, the other 2 or 3 times you fight him, its amusing.
