What Level would they be on?

Hell, what level would they have been on when we first meet them? Using FF terms, BTW.

I mean, Fighter is clearly high leveled, seeing how he did 200 plus damage to all thos enemies early on, and BM's able to take out a Giant, via the Hadoken...

Also, what level would by be at now?

Well... DnD wise I think they'd be around 14 or 15 ECL. Maybe even 20. It depends on if you view the class upgrades as going epic or just taking prestige levels.

For final Fantasy, however... Somewhere between 30 and 40. That's about when most people get the class change.

How many toes does a fish have?

How many wings on a cow?

I wonder.

Yup!

I wonder.

Which is fifthfiend's way of saying we've had this discussion many times and never came to a consensus. Unless you count "whatever level they need to be on to make it funny" as a valid answer.

NOW!!!!!----

WM=80ish (hammer dmg is crazy)
BM=60ish (Exploding Tuesday, he ran out of mana fast)
Fighter=Somewhere between 80-90
Thief=100000000000 (He can steal souls!)
Red Mage=Can't be determined
BB (b4 he died FOREVER XD)= 99

Considering :rmage:'s insane lust for exp, he must be at a lower level, and they also have never leveled, and the "real" light warriors are so much better, they must be somewhere between one and whatever :rmage: can get away with on there character sheets.

They're about to get a boost, if they can get that Rat Tail back to Bahamut! ;)

crabsoneyes 11-30-2005 07:27 PM

The fact is, if we're going to take it in an FF-stylee... then remember that the FF thief CAN'T actually steal, thereby making it the most pointless class (were it not for the ninja)

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble... =P

In dnd, BM would be level 17 (casts 1 lvl 9 spell per day)

But, Black mage got the Hadoken as a reward for sacrificing orphans, which by DnD, can mean he got some item that allows him to cast it as a daily bonus spell*.

In other words, he might be less then level 17.

*page 285 of the DMG, version 3.5:

...Bonus spell, Spell level^2 x 1000 Gold...
...No Space limitation, Price x2...

meaning the vaule of the Hadoken is: 162,000 GP
(Since BM scarificed nine orphans to get it, each orphans soul is worth 18,000 gold. You know, just incase you ever find any orphans laying around *hint hint*)
