Actually, I've always had the urge to shoot pokemon, digimon, and metabots in the face. Mamodo's are usually kind of interesting, and duelmonsters don't have personalities so I'd rather just shoot the players... but I think you get the point.

In actuality, what he detailed was true, except for one thing: I said that true strength came from within (meaning true skill) mostly because I didn't like the extra weapon's effects. Soul Charges are cool too, though.

what's devil triggering?

It's from the Devil May Cry games. Once you get demonic weapons in the first one, or get after a certain point in the third (and I've no idea about the second) you get a devil gauge. The devil gauge fills when you deal or receive damage, and once you have it filled to three spots or more you can 'devil trigger' taking a form that is, in some way, more powerful than your natural state until your gauge depletes.

Basically, it's channelling the demonic spirit through yourself and gaining the demonic powers through it.
