Rp ideas I'd like to try
Space mercenaries rp - Characters are a rag tag group of mercenaries caught between several governments. Possibly we'll be stuck with a v.i.p. or some technology everyone wants.
Tomb Crawl 1860-1940 - I'd like to do an arcaeology themed rp. You know like in Indiana jones, maybe Tuts tomb, or the new Mummy 1-2. I think it might be fun Te morituri salutamus - A roman gladiator RP we would be a new stable in the early days of the Flavian amphitheatre (colloseum). |
Which of these would be stat-based?
I don't have anything against stat RPs, it's just that the in-depth ones you tend to do confuse the hell out of me. |
all of them, I discourage god modding the best way possible.
|
Hmm...would the roman one be entirely reality-based or would some mythos slip through? Fighting off ancient beasts of lore with a cheering crowd sounds fun.
|
well if you think fighting off lions tigers and bears is to passe.
|
I dunno, just something to spice it up. The whole Oz field-trip is fine and all, but if you're importing foreign animals it would'nt hurt to ship in a minotaur or dragon or some such.
On the realism side, chariot races are go right? |
The gladitor thing sounds great. One question do we eventually get to go to the Coliseum and fight one of those giant naval battles they had everyonce and awhile? I think that would be really fun.
If you're not familure with the history at least once they emptied that basements and tore up the floor. Then they pluged up the arena and flooded with the water from a few rivers. Then they held a great naval battle in the Coliseum to celebrate something or other. |
It's what helped Ceaser gain his power and trust over the plebians of the Roman society.
|
Caesar was long dead at that point. The colloseum was built on the land Nero confiscated by the Flavian Emperors. Nero was the Last Julian-Claudian emperor.
|
Personally the Rome one also intrigues me. That, or the space mercenary one (yes, I'm a total sci-fi dork).
