Your opinions on these animes?
 

I've been sampling a few different animes, though I have yet to finish a series, and I was wondering what you guys thought of these ones:

.HACK//SIGN
.HACK//LIMINALITY
Zoids:Chaotic Century(BIG difference between normal zoids and this)
Read or Die(friend said this was pretty funny)

I'm considering watching these, but want some second opinions before I permanently scar myself*chuckles*.

EDIT:oh yeah, and please put in examples, small spoilers are fine, just nothing ginormous. Flag em first for the browsing peeps though.

I found .Hack to be kinda confuzzling and stupid...and a lot more drawn out than say, DBZ...

I've always been a Zoids man though.

.hack (I have only seen SIGN, but all the other .hacks are probably the same). 25 episodes to do what could be done in 4. Many pointless explonations, episodes, people, and much more... To drawn out, but it looks pretty...

Zoids, it's all good... CC is the best

If you actually think, you can understand the .hack series. Liminality REALLY helps... considering it's like you're playing along with it (since that series comes with the games)

The Chaotic Century... is that the one that comes on REAAAAALLY early in the mornings on CN? Or is that a different one? If it's the one I'm thinking it's DEFINATELY better than the other Zoids.

As far as the other one, I've never seen it, though I think I've heard some talk of it in other places in this area of the forum....

Cmon LWM, the only anime you can think about is Big O, and thats only because it is a gift from on high...

But Maybe Everquest left me jaded...and I don't like the .Hack games in general...

Chaotic Century is the one that comes on early, and it is much better than the other Zoids show. CC at least has a good plot, plus has a noticable Organoid (or two!).

Oh... so CC is the one that I see... good... that Zoid's series is actual decent...

Big O?! I haven't met one person yet who likes that damned show. The voices are overacted and the names...my god the names...have been way over-americanized. Roger Smith? What is this? Plus the story bites.

I hated the first Zoids, but the other series isn't half bad. I'm kind of lost, though. Maybe it's because I never watched the first one.

Ive seen exactly half of .HACK//SIGN, played half of the .HACK//GAMES, and seen half of .HACK//LIMINALITY. ATM, my opinion is that liminality is all WTF? like confusing, the series is actually nice, excepting the first two episodes which made Tsukasa look like a spaced out wacko. The games though, are absolutely inpossibly addictive! must...get.. .HACK//OUTBREAK!!!!!

I haven't seen the .Hack shows yet, but they're sappose to be good. However, they are also sappose to be 90% Drama and Character Interaction and little action. Not that this will be bad but for some they might not like it. Its also labeled as an 'Adult' show, not as if its an 'adult' show but because its aimed at adults instead of general audiances or kids. Although I hear in Japan, teenagers were a big part of the .Hack market (as they should be since it has 4 games).

But as for Read or Die, just one thing tosay really. Get it! One of th best OAVs I've ever seen. I describe it to people as 'the AniMatrix as it should have been', for lack of a better explination. Its really original and very nice. Balanced with character interaction, plot and action. Do at least rent it if you can. I already bought my copy right when it came out.
