Something I forgot to include in my Bio was my traveling beast, Though I don't know the name of the fire beasts. Dose anyone? Because it's not on the Wikipedia and I don't beleive they have mentioned the names in any of the episodes I've seen.

The rhinos? The large attack beasts Zuko and co. usually ride on, or something more Momo-like and compact. I'm drawing a blank.

I was thinking of having our transport be either personal Qilin or a large (or multiple) transport carried by them.

Also, this WILL start today, but I have to work 4-8 (EST) so expect it after then, unless someone wants to make the first post to get it started sooner.

I was thinking of the Rhino things. they Have three horns and look like lizards so I didn't want to call them Rhino's....

Yeah, the Avatar-world has some strange fauna, but that's what makes them so interesting. Platypusbears and six-legged flying bison/buffalo and whatnot. Did you want the rhino to be a permanent companion? The way they're presented in the show it would be somewhat like bringing your own rocket launcher to Peace Corps trips...maybe as a pet or something that you keep at home or something (I do have a Fire Nation detour planned so he wouldn't end up a totally unseen creature)?

EDIT: Also, I'm currently drawing a blank for the opening, which is sort of natural for me (every RP I've run I've had a good sense of the middle and end sequences but getting the engine to turn has always been a hassle), and even though I kept revisiting the situation at work I kept hitting a wall, especially when I realized that I didn't even have a good name (I omniloathe calling the actual RP "Avatar-esque RP: Chapter 1"), and the farthest I got on a good start was having us all in the transport on the way to the first assignment, the Air Nomad settlement/village. I'll let anyone who wants name the RP and create the first 'situation', although, trust me on this, I have everything planned out from there. Not, like Soldiers of Light planned out (i.e. there is RP free-will not RP pre-determined fate), but a very strong general outline.

If you guys haven't figured it out yet, I've decided against joining this one. I just don't know enough about the world to feel comfortable RPing in it.

I was thinking of those horse sized ones, the one that prince Zuko rides on in the Winter solstice episode's. Also in that episode they show those...chocobo's really....that the earth kingdom rides on. I never saw them do anything attack related but I haven't seen EVERY episode.

Not much has happened really. IHMN, CT, Mintaro, TBM, and Raiden's characters are all sitting in a room, waiting for the officer in charge of this peace corp thingy to show up. Most of the posts up to this point have been either people travelling on their ways there or the characters already present interacting with one another.
