Chinese food
Does anybody like it?
|
Depends on how it's prepared. For the most part, however, I find it highly palatable. And most of the waitresses in the establishments are, too.
And now I'll return to my perverse little corner of the world. |
When it's in restuarant and buffets Chinese foods pretty good. I don't like take out though, too greasy.

There's a great little place near here that does Chinese and sushi, I mean everything on the menu's just great. It used to be they didn't even have tableware, just like styrafoam cups and plastic forks and such. They're starting to get upscale now though, a lot of jacking up the prices and jacking down the amount of food you get. It's still really good though, you just don't get as much really good as you used to.
There was this place in this other place I lived called China Muslim, it was what it sounds like, mainly Chinese but blended with Muslim style stuff, also no pork on the menu cause the Muslims don't dig on swine. They had the best noodles of any Chinese place I've ever been, for whatever reason. |
I'm with SSB up there. The Buffets are alright, and most sit down places have good stuff there. But when it comes to take out: never order the beef, that didn't seem like beef to me.

Good place around here called ChiThai. Really just a mix of chinese and thai food, but I was amongst their first customers. Fortunately, they're doing very well.
Although for Japanese food, Nakato owns ALL. :thief: |
Here in Ann Arbor (or "Ace Duece" as us townies call it) there's a place called San Fu, which has the best General's Chicken ever. Every time I get General's Chicken from someplace else, I'm sorely disappointed by the quality and lack of spiciness.
Oh General Tsao, how do you make everything taste so delicious? |
I like it now and then, IF it's high quality.
Oh, and on the subject of chinese food: http://upchucky.com/flash-chinese.html Flash file. |
If ramen counts, that's it.

When I was in college over in Troy (Alabama), there was a great Chinese place that had a $4.00 buffet. It was awesome in both price and taste! The place was called Mr. Ho's.
