To Brian!
|
Timely updates, a friendly forum personality, solidly informative and knowledgeable newsposts...God, I'm awesome :D
But seriously, Long Live the Spinner of Tales, the Twinkeriffic, the Indelectiblistc, the Juggernaut's cousin's best friend's roomates's 2nd favoritist comic-weilding ball of funny, BRIAAAAN! |
well, over the course of 4 months, from june 26th to october 26, brian produced 46 comics (counting 5 filler/half comic updates), that averages out to 11 and half comics a month. thats not that bad as the previous fourth months brian produced 57 comics (counting 12 filler/guest strip updates) which averaged out to be 14.25 comics a month.
so the huricanes only knocked out 2 updates a month, i'd say thats pretty damn devoted. |
Don't forget Nuklear Age! ^-^ (Of which I will hopefully recieve this christmas)
|
Well Brian I'm not much of a butt-kisser. But I WILL say that your comic was the primary inspiration for my webcomic (at least you can see the influence if you look closely). I discovered 8-bit a few months back and started from episode 1. I plowed through the entire series in about a week or two- and got me really interested in webcomics. If you want to see what could be considered 'the freakish (yet sleek) child of 8-bit' take a gander at Sacred Blue. It has nothing to do with video games- but it's definitely stemming from your brand of humor.
Anyways, i suppose imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Consider yourself flattered. |
Its cause of Brian that I finally got my Fighter and Black Mage Tee Shirts a whole year after ordering them...
And I got a discount too from him cause of it.... That just shows how deciated he is to keeping his fans happy..... |
Yes, Brian. Thank you for the amazingly funny that is 8Bit Theater. And a wonderful X-mas to you and yours.
|
cheers, Brian. I think you've earned it!
*downs a shot o' whisky* *hiccup*I lurve you, man... |
Brian, you've been pretty awesome as of late. I've never seen an "Internet celeb" so loyal to his fans(yet still not letting them stop you from doing what you want); it's so cool that you're on the board the whole time. I stopped reading 8 Bit for a while(can't remember why, think I gave up webcomics for a bit), and to be honest, your "audience interaction" is what made me go "Aww, he's a great guy, I should read his comic again".
Merry Christmas, Brian :) |
!
Brian, I know now that 8-bit is a part of my life because I'm watching Rocky Horror for the first time in ages and when the lips sing 'when worlds collide' I spit my beer all over because Matoya and Bahamut popped into my head. You rock dude! Thanks for adding to the internet pop-culture. :D
