I predict that RM will try to make a reflex check, the Hadoken will then bounce off the dice, & tear through the deathtrap's ceiling, thus saving RM, & then placing him & th other LW's in Danger. Or RM will die & WM will either replace him or revive him. Or something completely different might happen, which is altogether more likely. But since I said it was more likely it is now less likely, but saying that makes it more likely etc...

I'll post again when I stop confusing myself.

Perhaps now it'd be time to see how all the other characters are doing, thus maintaining suspense as to the attack's effects. Or maybe RM will just die, though maybe WM would be able to make him better. If WM accidentally became the creator of the universe, would she need any external force to enable her to class change?

Oh dear. RM's hat is NEVER going to recover from this. :D
...wait a minute. Did I actually say something smart for once? The hat WAS the one on BM's Death list, not RM himself...

While I agree that RM surviving such an attack would be proof that the class change did indeed take place, I think the others would simply see this as his constant reworking of his character sheet. I know that every character has always been just as strong or weak as needed to make the given situation funnier, but I think that the fact that RM can somehow change his strengths/weaknesses at will would be expected by the other guys by now and not seen as anything new. So while this would be proof to us readers it would fall on deaf ears from the others.

If that made any sense I'll be shocked.

YAY FOR THE HADOKEN! When was the last time the Hadoken was actually used? I sorta....forgot.

Major Blood 12-29-2005 01:09 AM

Well its about DAMN TIME that the hadoken is used. It seems like forever since it was last used.

What I dont understand is how exactly Red Mage ruined the class change. What did he do to spoil it? It seems to me as if they jsut got shafted because Bahamut is a jerk.

Kurosen 12-29-2005 01:43 AM

I think Black Mage's point is that the whole quest, which Red Mage was a huge proponet of, turned out to be a sham. With nekkid dragons.
