So, about ol' Doc Swordopolis...
 

I've been reading a couple of the old 434 speculation threads, and noticed that noone seems to be talking about Dr. Swordopolis. He's appeared in several strips, and brings the mad forshadowing. It seems almost an oversight not to consider him when debating future plot events...

So, has anyone considered him yet? Considered things such as, for example, that he might be a manifestation of Fighter's latent intelligence?
....you know, assuming Fighter's latent intelligence can splice time and space, teleporting people hundreds of kilometres above BM's head...

In my view, he's nothing more than a plot device to keep fighter going on the right path.

And also keeping Fighter in the land of the living.

He has been considered... I don't have the exact quote, but I do remember people saying how Dr. Swordopolis mentioned how Fighter was destinied to save the world. This have lead many to believe (myself included), that Fighter will be the one talking to Black Mage like in 434.

But you seem to have this new interesting theory. Now you think that what Swordopolis can do Fighter will be able to do, or that Swordopolis is a figment of Fighter's imagination, and Fighter has been doing this time change thing the entire time?

Couldn't have been. It doesn't fit the content near the end at all. Why would BM put himself in that situation and find it funny, and his other side not know about it?

No, this is a conversation between two different people. One of who is mostl likely BM.

I've always thought that was a discussion between BM and WM.

=] good. because I haven't exactly seen that much of people's ideas outside of the few threads I've looked at(I did just join today...). *shrugs* I don't actually have any logical-y ideas who it'd be there.
Maybe Dr. Swordopolis is... hmm... Sarda! XD or actually some random god or something.

If it turns out that BM (or should we say BW now) is actually Chaos...then does that mean....Fighter...becomes.....nah! XP
