All-Star - Smashmouth

In Too Deep - Sum41

Im Just a Kid - Simple Plan

It Just Takes Some Time - Jimmy Eats World

And if you want to annoy some people, Mambo No. 5 by our dear sweat Lou Bega.

Thats all I can think of right now.

Low self-esteem. A girl thinks she needs to act a little bit more slutty because she isn't good enough being herself. High standards now-a-days. That's how I think of it anyway.

Any dance which requires or implies a partner of the opposite sex requires the two parties involved, generally, to touch the other. However, THOSE dances don't strike me as... sexual, persay... just awkward. You know; 'Opps, am I moving to fast? Um, am I touching her too low on her back? Damn! I just stepped on her feet!'

But the butt-shaking, hip-gyrating, dry-humping hip-hop danceing? Yeah. I've got a problem with that. Needless to say, I was not a fan of the 'Thong Song' music video.

One thing is objectifying women--the other is, 'we're both virile and horny and there's no justification for this dance other than to heighten or arousal of each other.' I think there's nothing wrong with that. If you'll recall, many people go to clubs for the sole reason of dancing raunchily.

Music suggestions: sports games love repetitive techno and formulaic rock. Try some 'famous' old techno songs like Castles in the Sky.

I just remembered there used to be a series of CDs called Jock Jams, the contents of which was these type of songs. I dunno if you can find them or not anymore (or how current the songs are), but it might be worth hunting around some used CD sites.

Figured he might want the correct song title. :P

If you must play rap, I'd suggest "Let's Go" by Lil' John simply because it has the guitar part for Crazy Train.

You should go with some older hip-hop instead of more recent rap. Play stuff like old MC Hammer songs or Tag Team. If you want to mess with everyone, go with Vanilla Ice.

As far as the guys' games, just go with some rock and/or 70's and 80's metal that will get people pumped up. Go with things like "Welcome to the Jungle" and you'll be fine.

Steve Miller, anybody?

Last night we had two Boys' games, and it was a total blast! Jim and I were blasting good music and cranking out killer commentary, and the audience enjoyed it so much they were dancin' during time-out music time...thingie. The cheerleaders busted some killer moves to our beats, as well. All thanks to a little experience and your suggestions.

That said, I'd still appreciate any more ideas flung my way, especially because our next work day is Tuesday with the Girls' league...
