Tournament: Forever Zero vs. Biran
 

Ok, we've decided on a forest arena. There'll be lotso trees and bushes, of course, and I don't think much else. (Forever you can add anything you'd like to the description. And I'll let you take the first move, I'm not good with starting off battles.) Let the battle begin! :D

OOC: Yar, alrighty, now to start this off. In case you don't know, 'OOC:' means 'Out Of Character', which means you aren't posting something as part of the event in the RP.

The massive arena stood in the middle of the forest with packed roads leading up to it. The Ultimate Fighting Championship was going through it's first round here, at the Windward Forest, in the arena which had been built around a forest.

OOC: Perhaps we should give short character introductions first, then start the fight.

At each end of the arena was one of the warriors. They couldn't see each other through the trees and tall grass, but the announcer would say when the match would begin. Janus stood at one end, and looked at the cheering crowd packing the stage to the max. "Bah, all this ceremony and preperation, I'll be ready whenever the match starts." Janus muttered, looking around at the forest, judging good hiding and ambush spots.

The camera focuses on Ninja Master Gara, aboard one of A-Ian Meide's airships with DS, Abigail, Yoko and Arshes as well as the other spectators. Gara is wearing a Blue Mage-esque mask and wearing a nametag saying "Not Ninja Master Gara".

"Welcome, everyone, to the 8-Bit Theater RP Tournament! Much-anticipated, long in the waiting, this gruesome battle to the death is going to kick off soon! I'm your host for the day, the Masked Ninja Pie R Squared!

Our arena for today is... the Konoha Training Forest! Filled with large decayed hulks and lots and lots of trees, this dense jungle environment is ideal for close-in fighting and vicious backstabbing! Oh wait, that's Survivor. Never mind.

Our first contestant - Janus, Dark Knight, Bearer of the blade Forever Zero, he who is one with the summons, we give you... JANUS!!!!!"

Camera zooms in on top of Janus, who's trying to hide, then back to Gara.

"And our next competitor, the juggler who hides his knife behind a smile, that deceptively powerful prestidigitator, we present... SAMUEL!!!!

Camera focuses on Samuel, who's waiting for Janus to start, then back to the airship.

"And now, we go live to our bunny girl Motoko, who'll interview Dark Knight Janus!"

Camera focuses on Motoko Aoyama, in a bunny girl costume, sheepishly walking up to Janus.

"Anou sa... Would you like to tell us more about yourself, Mr. Janus?"

Samuel took off his hat and took a bow, smiling broadly. He then tossed his hat up, letting fall 7 colourful juggling balls.

As they fell, he skillfully caught them and started to juggle, a trick he had performed many times. His hat landed on his head, and the crowd watching him roared.

"Thank you, thank you all!" he said as he got ready for anything.

OOC: ... Guess this teaches me to let you be the announcer... :p

Janus glared at the person taht walked up to him and said, "I would rather not." He looked about a second from inflicting death, so that was all the reporter needed before she left. Janus made his way through the forest, looking for his opponent. As he came through the trees, he saw a small moogle dressed like a clown. <This is my first opponent?! Well, I can at least be merciful and make it quick...> Janus thought. He formed a small fireball in one of his mailed hands, walked out from behind the tree, and said, "Hey, hairball, juggle this!" Throwing the fireball at the moogle.

OOC: Well, you *did* say you wanted a short character intro...

BIC: "And the battle begins, with Biran taking the first move - a fireball!"

OOC: Stop doing that... That's the reason we didn't have judges, so post won't be taken up...

OOC: ... A. I meant the reporter, and B. I do believe that Janus fired the fireball...

Samuel swiftly turned around to the sorce of the noise.

"Haha! Why not?"

He caught the flaming ball and and put it into the circle. Samuel then threw it back.

"Hey, old geezer!" he yelled, being at a young age of 16. "Have a taste of your own medicine!"

OOC: That's okay, I just had dinner and had to be off for half an hour.

Janus hadn't expected that, and barely fell back and out of the way in time. He got up, using the tree as cover, and thought, <Well, this could be a more interesting battle than I thought...>. Janus came back out, let out a battle roar, and charged straight at the moogle, preparing to slice it in half with his Great Sword.
