I honestly don't mind a fight to the death and magically reappearing for the next match. I think the tournament is going well. It does take some level of one person giving up to end a fight though. I'm leaning towards the idea of a judge determining the winner and thus the last post.

Struggling to get a breath in, Samuel noticed that Janus was advancing on him.

He scooted back, still on the ground, hoping to buy more time.

Finally he had caught his breath, and he quickly bolted away from Janus. When he was far enough away, Samuel circled around Janus, trying to get to his knife.
