Janus saw what the moogle was doing, and also headed to the knife, but he was taller with longer legs and could run a little faster than the shorter moogle. He got his longsword ready in his good hand if the moogle came into range to swipe.

Moogle was 1/2 dead
- no weapon
- no armor
- no magic

And Janus was 2/3 dead
- great sword, long sword, mace
- full plate mail
- arsenal of magic

But go figure, moogles are hardier then I thought to survive near strangulation and be up and running in seconds...

OOC: One of Janus' arms is also very damage and not very useful

OOC: Forgot about that, guess I need to change to his longsword since he needs two hands for his great sword.

OOC Throw the greatsword, throw the mace, S&D with longsword... I'd like to see how a moogle catches a blazing magic sword twice as tall as he is...

OOC: When you've been strangled, once you've caught your breath you'd probably run, right? I mean, so far you've injuried my cheek, and my neck, that I can remember. I don't think you've injured my legs yet. He'd still be able to run. Edit: He wouldn't, he'd probably dodge it, or take the hit.

OOC: While hurling dark energy charged weapons at the moogle does sound entertaining, Janus is so messed up at this point the moogle could probably dodge it all, since he seems to be going for speed and I'm going for strength.

EDIT: Note to self, next time moogle comes close, break his legs...
