I call shennanigans. The question said that the 7th man 'catches up' with the other 6 men, if they were carrying his coffin he was never behind them to begin with. It also says the other 6 men "look at the 7th man and wonder how he managed to stay dry." They were carrying his closed coffin, there's nothing to wonder.
Not only were CrotchKnocker's, Monkey's, and Darth's answers adequate answers, they were in fact better answers than the purportedly "correct" response.
The question should be ruled invalid under any of the following -
Quote:
- the question isn't in some way common knowledge (e.g. "What's my favourite colour?")
- the questioner doesn't know the answer themselves
- the question is ambiguous or there is more than one correct answer
