Funniest Sigs!

Post the funniest sigs you have seen, or the simply post on here if you think yours is hilarious.

Personally i like mine :) esp. teh Mr. T one. :D

I believe threads like these are usually unallowed, as after a few posts/pages everyone has said the exact same thing (ZMOG CMP, YOUS HELLLIROUS, BABIES( and the 'conversation' turns stagnant.

Just saying that if this gets closed in a succint post don't be suprised.

I think a funny sig is something one needs to perfect, and not just be quotes of other things. It needs to 'compile' into one entity of funniness.

Speaking of sigs, it's fun to peruse .Kibo's sig from the Usenet days...

A signature is commonly referred to as a "sig" for short.

Some of the better signatures are those gathered from quotes, in my opinion.

Better signatures tend to have some sort of forum injoke attached - or are just especially novel.

The moment I thought about posting here I couldn't get passed the idea that my signature would automatically be judged.. *sigh*

On a somewhat related tangent, what's with the recent spate of Hitchhiker's Guide-series quotes in signatures? I've seen at least three or four besides mine. I suppose what I'm really trying to say is...it's flattering, folks, but you all know, deep down, that you'll never be as mind-bogglingly hoopy as I am  .

:p

Quotes are unoriginal and not as funny as original content.
Quoting other forum members is only funny to a point, as most of the time it refers to some in-joke that others don't care about or won't know why it is meant to be funny.
This thread is interesting to me, as I'd have to pay more attention to people's signatures. Most of them contain inane little things about 8-bit or huge sections of quote blocks, so I tend to ignore them. Also, some of you change your sigs quite often, and not every update is as amusing as previous ones.

I tend to go with a general theme for my sig and info, I like changing it around because I get bored easily. I tend to keep a few common links in my sig though.

and Synk, when was the last time you updated that site in your sig? I love the layout but its al so dated and mysterious. @_@
