Actually, Reversi is the best game ever made.

Even though it is probably a spam thread, I think the pong-like games like Arkanoid (sp?) and a game I played on a Mac in elementary school called Bebop were just the shizzle fo wtfbbqizzle. Sometimes the 'grab a pixelated paddle and destroy bricks with a ball' mood strikes, and I know that's not Pong EXACTLY, but it's pretty much the same concept in my books.

If we're discussing really old games, then I have to say that Rogue is an amazing piece of work. I'm surprised that so few NPFers have played it. If you want to talk Rogue, I'd love to chat with you, so send me a message using any medium you wish!

I'm now playing DoomRL. One of the few games where several A's and B's can scare the bajeezus out of you.

Those are really more Breakout-type games, taxonomically speaking.
