He's broke. Everyone is but Thief. Thief doesn't really share his riches. This isn't an RPG party where everybody has net total of cash.

I doubt it'll be white magic. It just doesn't say "Fighter" if he did. Any projectile would be really outside the realm of a fighter as well. So maybe it's like the FFV samurai ability of a one hit KO. All I do know is it'll probably involve swords.
