A chat room
 

Wouldn't it be fun if there was a chat room? It would really help the discussions if they happened in real time, and people could get answers quickly instead of waiting for someone to take interest in their thread and reply.

yea that wold be cool it could be like "Chat Room:Nuklear Power Fourm or something or other.

I believe at one point when we were back at TWC there was a chatroom - however, no-one was ever there.

why dont yall make your own on some irc server?

This is what I was thinking. Are there servers that allow for chats to be created, or did you simply mean go create a room on some server as necessarry?

I think an actual IRC server for Nuklear Power would be interesting - a place for us to all sit around (probably all idling...) - some other communities have something like this. However, that not only takes more time from whomever is going to run it, it requires a server and all that kind of set-up... so.. nevermind.

i doubt anyone could actually host an irc server other than fuitad, and he most certainly wouldnt. just go to your favorite irc network (dalnet, espernet, undernet, or even sexnet if you like) and make up a name, or perhaps search for an already existing one.

There's already the #8-Bit.Theater channel on EFNet.
