Favourite Forgotten Realms Character
 

Considering there are all sorts of good and evil characters, I thought I'd ask the populace who is their favourite Forgotten Realms character. You can use any character from a book that has the FR logo on it. My personal favourite character is Wulfgar. How 'bout you?

Artemis Entreri, fo shizzo.

Artemis is a badass, no doubt, but I don't think he's the best. Elminster is a bit overused, especially considering he is THE most powerful mortal on the planet, who still speaks in "Ye."

But! Favorite FR character? Probably Pikel Bouldershoulder, or Fydor. Pikel is a dwarven druid from the Cleric Quintet, another Salvatore work. "Boom!"

Fydor is a rather funny barbarian from Rashemen. He has a great line when someone asks him why he has a sword that isn't bladed.

"Well, if it were bladed, I might cut myself."

Gosh, I haven't ready any Forgotten Realms books in ages. But I think my favorite character was Elaith Croulnober, the no-good-dirty-rotten elven crime lord of the Songs and Swords series. Yes, I'm a freak.

Seriously, Pikel and Ivan are totally awesome. Pikel..'cause well he's a dwarven druid for crying out loud and Ivan 'cause he's a friggin miniature viking!

Another character of interestingness is Jarlaxle. Why? because he toys with drow society like it is a child's plaything. He can get away with mocking most Lloth priestesses because they know he has a friggin veritable army of pissed off males under his command that have infiltrated almost every corner of Menzoberanzon and could cause some serious damage.

I never really got into FR. I'm too much of a Dragonlance guy. But if i had to pick a favorite character... i'd say Regis.

As a team, Pikle and Ivan.

Singular, probably Bruenor Battlehammer. Or Regis.

Now, keep in mind that I haven't read many.

Close second for favorite, however, is that mage from the War of the Spider Queen series (I need to find that second book, I'veo nly read the first one. ;_;)

Well, I'd have to go with a character of mine that's currently in an FR setting, but that's probably not allowed. In that case, I'm a fan of quite a few:

Drizzt got me into FR. I've always enjoyed his stories.
Entreri was an awesome villain/rival, and he's looking pretty cool in his own book.
Jarlaxle, of course, is a pure manifestation of awesome.

Correction BitVyper, Jarlaxle is the concentrated essense of two awesome maniphestations.
